Tanya's Daily Scoop Covering the West Coast & the World CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: SAN FRANCISCO
Livin' like a ROCK STAR
Hello my little DAHLINGS! (although I bet most of you are bigger than little ol' me..LOL)
GREETINGS from San Francisco.
We arrived via air this morning, departing from Smog Land and landing in Fog Land.
The smog was so bad yesterday. This was our view as we headed over to the stables. Can you see the outline of the mountains in the background? (c)travelincousins.com
Although I had plans for brekkie this morning, it got a bit frustrating - more on this tomorrow. So after figuring out what to eat, we got on our way to start our day! But as the story goes - you'll get today's story in tomorrows Daily Scoop.
And thus today we are gonna chat about yesterday.
Cosette and I had finally made it over to Chino and to visit Dream. And as usual Dream was happy to see us. But while we were there and walking her around, we had noticed that one of her hind legs seemed a bit stiff, causing her to drag it a bit.

Because of such, we have decided that we are going to head back over to the stables early on Monday morning to check up on her before all of the birthday festivities get underway.
Speaking about the birthday, Monday is going to be Chaplin's 7th birthday and she is a planner (takes after her aunt - ME)! Before heading home to get ready for the game, we still needed to run back to the mall and pick up a few things that in hind sight we should've picked up when we were at the mall a few days ago.
After a couple of other chores, Cosette and I made it back home and we started getting ready for our night at the stadium. Matt met us and we car-pooled to pick up Dave and pick up our dinner.

Jodie eventually met us under one of the big hats at the stadium and then the 6 of us went in to go find our seats.

It was a good game and I love good games!
Of course one could say that I thought it was a good game because the Yankees won. But all in all, truth is that the lead went from one team to the other, the crowd was into it, it was entertaining and exciting and everybody played well.
ALL RISE (c)travelincousins.com
The game went into extra innings and there was plenty of friendly banter between the Angels fans and the oh so many Yankees fans.
Didi Gregorius was the hero of the night and although the game took place in Anaheim, Didi got a curtain call by all the oh so many Yankees fans!

Take a quick lookie at the video below and hear the roar from the fans as the Yankees won the game! Keep in mind that the fans going wild are that from the visiting team.
Yankees fans can be found all around the world!
Well folks I'll keep livin' like a rockstar...and then some - long days, late nights, early mornings and not much sleep.
Well I've been taking a short break to fill you in on things but it's time that I head back to doing what it takes to be me ;) -Travelin' Tanya
Elisa's Daily Scoop Covering Long Island & NYC Boroughs CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN THE BRONX
Off to Poe Park
Well hello! Up bright and early over here for a Saturday morning, getting ready to head up to The Bronx for a morning of exploration at Poe Park, Poe Park Visitors Center and Poe Cottage.
I'll be bringing you the full scoop tomorrow!

The rest of my day is essentially filled with chores and errands.
I promised the kids we'd do some clothing shopping later in the afternoon. Gianna wants to get her graduation dress and both kids are in need of warm weather attire.
This will be followed by a major shopping at Trader Joe's. Boy, did we go through the weekly shopping fast!
The kids LOVE this store! And I'm pretty fond of it too since the food is healthy and the prices are less than the supermarket.
Plus, they give you paper bags, which are much sturdier for carrying groceries and if you bring your bags back for reuse, you get to enter their raffle to win free groceries!
For those of you who are not familiar with the food chain - here's a bit of information:
Trader Joe's grocery chain currently has 474 stores nationwide in 43 states and in Washington, D.C.
It was founded in 1979 by Joseph "Joe" Coulombe and purchased that same year by German entrepreneur Theo Albrecht as an investment for his family. At the time of his death in 2010, his heirs took over the company.
Today the company has offices in Monrovia, California, and Boston, Massachusetts.
Tonight will be filled with binge watching of The Office!
