Elisa's Daily ScoopTravelin' Around ViennaHey there! Glad Monday is over and it's Tuesday!! I ran around yesterday like a chicken without a head!! Of course, I'm grateful that I was extremely productive. My day is not nearly as hectic today as it was yesterday, so I'm going to take it a little easier. I plan to work out before doing anything else. I have to meet with Danielle at around 9am for breakfast and then to plan Mother's Day and a few other upcoming social events. Our favorite little breakfast joint is "Bialystock & Bloom" near Danielle's house. It's a tiny little storefront with only several tables...BUT, the food is just so wonderful. They make the best salads, breakfast and lunch wraps, and they offer vegetarian, vegan and non-vegan options. We usually get the "#9" which is eggwhites, spinach mushrooms and feta cheese. Sometimes we change it up with mozzarella cheese instead of feta! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!! Today also happens to be "Travelin' Tuesday." For the past few weeks, I've been sharing the daily itinerary with you for Tanya and Elisa's Milestone Birthday Eastern Europe Rail Trip. So far, I've covered 4 of the 5 cities we'll be visiting: Prague, Krakow, Budapest and Bratislava. Today, I'm going to tell you all about our Vienna itinerary! Now, I was just in Vienna last Spring, so while I did quite a bit of sightseeing at that time, I will hit some of these places again - probably a little more in-depth and I'll also put a few things on our schedule that I did not have an opportunity to do!! Vienna will be our last touring city on this amazing Milestone Birthday trip. We will be arriving early int he morning from Bratislava, Slovakia and staying in this wonderful city four nights in a private rental. As it turns out, I booked the same apartment from my previous visit in Spring 2014 because I loved it so much! Well, folks - here's Vienna's Itinerary: Well, folks - here's Vienna's Itinerary: Day 1 * Arrive Vienna via Train from Bratislava Early Morning * Private Apartment Rental Check in * Hofburg - Tour through the Palace - Butterfly House, Grounds * Tea at Cafe Central * Opera Day 2 * Full Day Walking & Biking Tour Around Vienna We found a wonderful tour that provides the opportunity to walk and bike the city!! Then the bike riding tour will include: > A ride around the Ringstrasse > City Hall > Vienna University > Houses of Parliament > Vienna Opera House > Hundertwasserhaus > The Prater (Ferris Wheel), where we will take a ride! This is sure to be a fantastic Day!! I'll talk more next Travelin' Tuesday and the weeks to follow, about certain sights on our trip in greater detail. Have to get going! Enjoy your day!! -E xoxo | Tanya's Daily ScoopGonna be another HOT dayHeya Everyone! Boy was yesterday HOT! I took Cosette to the stables to see Dream - who by the way was so excited to see Cosette. It was quite adorable and cute! Then the day continued and we had to stop back at home for a very short break and to pick up Dominic. That drive really winded me. The A/C was on, but the hot beating sun had tortured me. Once I made it home, I was flushed and I stumbled inside and collapsed on the cool couch. After a few minutes my sisters had both separately expressed there concern for me - because this is a sight that you NEVER see! I mumbled how hot it was, and how uncomfortable I was. Jet had insisted that I drink plenty of water, and joked that taking all of my winter trips to cold climates that I must've really screwed with my internal temperature! If I can't handle the high 80's what am I gonna do in the summer months when the temps are 100F and above?! It scares me to even think about it. After my core temperature had cooled down, I was ready and rearing to be off once again! It was time to head to choir! And so the night went... I won't bore you with the details - instead... Being that it's Tuesday, let's talk Travel! It's Travelin' Tuesday - Hip Hip Hooray!
