NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 3 DAYS - SAN FRANCISCO
FUN plans for the week!
Good day out there!
Today is gonna be another busy one... Just like the rest of the week, but just because it's gonna be a busy one doesn't mean that there isn't gonna be any fun!
After all the running around that I have to do this morning, Cosette and I will be heading out to the stables for a visit to dear sweet Dream.
Later on Dominic has class and although I generally like to hang out and read while he is there, tonight is the only time that I have the time to go for get my nails done.
I was thinking of going with some wild, crazy and fun color, but then I remembered about the plans that I made to go to Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont San Francisco for this Sunday.
Afternoon Tea for me is always a bit prim and proper and therefore "wild & crazy fun" colors just don't quite fit the bill.
Tonight will also be a packing night, since there is not other time for us to squeeze that in.
Tomorrow's fun will include birthday shopping for Chaplin (who turns 7 on Monday), and going to see Avengers: Infinity War...you'll notice that the movie opens on April 27th and yet we are going on April 26th - so I guess we're going to the pre-opening!
Friday's fun will be going with friends to the
Los Angeles Angels vs New New Yankees game at Anaheim Stadium...I sure hope that my team wins!
And then early on Saturday morning we will be catching a flight and heading up to San Francisco!
Find the fun is all that is done, -Travelin' Tanya

NEXT DAY TRIP: 3 DAYS - THE BRONX
Hi Guys! Halfway through the week and I realized that I want to tell you what's happening over the next couple of weeks.
This weekend, I'll be headed to The Bronx to visit Poe Park and Matteo Pellegrinuzzi's exhibit, The Bronx-La Villette at the Poe Park Visitor's Center.
While there, I'll also be checking out Poe Cottage, which I cannot wait to see!
I'll be doing a special feature on these Bronx destinations during the coming weeks.

My original plan was to make a whole day of it, and have lunch in Little Italy on Arthur Avenue in The Bronx.
But, after my girls heard it was Restaurant Week on Long Island this week, they got their hearts set on going to Spuntino Wine and Tapas Bar, which is participating in the week-long event.
So, more than likely, we'll head on back home, mid-afternoon.
Next weekend, specifically, on Saturday, I'm going to take my daughters on another Long Island town excursion, with a few historic sites and yet again, an Afternoon Tea experience!

This time, it's going to be to the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson. Located in the town of Brookhaven, and fifty miles east of New York City, it has a rich maritime history, with picturesque water views, unique shops, specialty restaurants, cultural activities, and marina docks.
I'll give you more details about this mini trip later in the week.
I also have a number of stories I'm working on as well. These will be published over the next few months and include:
* Taking a Trip Back in Time at The Stony Brook Grist Mill
* Stony Brook - A Long Island Hamlet Must-Visit
* The Cathedral of The Incarnation - The Largest Cathedral in The World
