I woke up this morning so incredibly happy and cheery! The sun was out. Yay! I just love that little star in our universe.
Well I woke up this morning and was so pleasantly pleased because Kelsey was feeling much better and Gianna was moving about with a little more ease.
However I did decide I'm going to bring "G" back to the back specialist that we met with a few years ago. At the time, she seemed to be a proponent of doing naturopathic things to get through these bouts of re-injury, since there was no structural problem.
In light of the fact that Gianna has grown since her last visit, I figured it's a good time to touch base with the doctor and see what other helpful things Gianna can do to strengthen her back.
Joining the gym is probably an excellent step in that direction and I'm trying to get her to join me in a yoga classes a few times a week, since that will be sure to strengthen her core.

Back to today...
OMG - I was doing a search about things to do in the coming weeks of April and I came across the COOLEST event at The Theatre at Madison Square Gardens!!

And don't worry folks, the elephant featured is NOT real - it's a puppet!! (That was the first thing I thought of when I watched the video lol - don't want those elephants exploited!)
Check out, yet another video about these "animatronic" elephant puppet and its creation!!
Well, as you can imagine, after I found this little gem, I immediately rushed to get tickets for me and my girls!!
So folks, I ordered three tickets for me and the girls to see the Sunday performance next week!
I am really excited. What I'm really excited about is that I did it spur the moment. And of course the girls are excited because were going back to our favorite restaurant, Azalea, in New York theater district. Azalea Ristorante in NYC's Theatre District is in Full Bloom! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
Tanya's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 4 DAYS
Another busy Sunday
Well hello there!
I'm coming to you from the stand still traffic that OC/LA has become most of the time. Luckily I'm not driving. We are heading to the kids second performance of the weekend over at Forest Lawn in Rose Hills for a huge annual memorial put on by Justice for Homicide Victims.
It will be a rather heavy morning (emotionally speaking). One that is difficult to hold back the tears as we listen to the testimonials as well as the uplifting heartfelt lyrics of that what the International Peace Choir brings to the event.
Whereas yesterday's performance was filled with toe tapping upbeat cheer as the choir opened the 12th annual festival for children at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California.
Then although he plan was not to do any exploring of the aquarium this time around - once the kids got together with some of their friends all of a sudden the plans had changed and they wanted to hang out and socialize while walking amongst the sea-life at the aquarium.
Upon leaving we were taking the kids friend Jayson home, but since we were all quite hungry we voted on grabbing some lunch before dropping him off. Yummy Pizzanista it was!
Then it was time to get down to business, drop the kids off at home with the rest of the fam bam and for Dave and I to hit the mall.
We were in search of putting together the family's wardrobe for Easter. And while I was able to have quite a successful few hours of shopping, I've gotta say that this has been the most difficult Easter to shop for - I think that the designers have simply lost their minds.
I'm beginning to feel as though I'm searching for a needle in a haystack to find us all the perfect Easter outfits amongst the very "ugly" and "unattractive" Easter wear that is out there.
I've gotta admit that there were definite times when not finding something for myself that I got rather discouraged and disappointed.
Although I still didn't find an outfit/dress of my own, we were rather successful and I did find a cute pair of shoes!
Shoes always help my mood :)
Poor Dave was quite a trooper and had suffered through it all being rather pooped by the end of our shopping spree.
Another long day today. I've gotta hit the stores again this afternoon after the performance. Although Easter is 14 days away, I've got a bit of extra pressure since this is the last weekend that I could go shopping before Easter is upon us.
Next weekend I'll be out of town on my 4th trip of 2017 - pedaling away in the beautiful Mountain Biking capital of the World - MOAB, UTAH!!
Well folks I'm gonna cut it short here since I forgot to charge up my battery and since we are almost at the venue.
ALSO - I'm sure that you have probably noticed that I have NO PICTURES in my column... Well ya see my dear laptop decided that it just doesn't feel like reading SD cards anymore. I've got around this by using a SD card adapter - however, I totally forgot it at home. LAME. I'll update later on when I can finally upload the many pics that I planned to add to today's Daily Scoop.
