Tuesday Feels like Monday
Well hello!! Where did Monday go??
I started off the day yesterday in high gear - the usual morning routine - making breakfast, packing up lunches, feeding my fur baby, Punkin, only to realize that Gianna was not feeling any better from the night before. In fact, she was actually feeling worse and her throat was hurting even more. So, one kid down for the count and I had to get Kelsey off to school. Ugh. Then, from there, I had to go to my Dad's to help out for the morning and head out for a few doctor appointments. Three in total!!! Busy Day. I did not get home until 5pm, but first had to stop and get a fresh juice for my girl Gianna, who had been waiting all day for me to return with it all day.
My day didn't end there - it was now dinner time and I had to cook and review some social studies with Kelsey for her test today.
Needless to say, the combined physical tiredness combined with the mental and emotional fatigue of the day, I literally passed out at 8pm. So, as I said...where did Monday go? lol. What I felt bad about was that I never had a chance to write my blog! Well, here I am today. Another day here and I'm off to accompany my dad to his 4th radiation appointment. After today, he will have only six treatments left! In the meantime, me and my sis, Danielle are feeding Dad with lots of fresh veggie and fruit juices, as well as soups, which are said to have healing powers. Then, of course, I have my two baby girls that I need to make dinner. Veggie soup for tonight. But first, with the beautiful sun shining and crisp temperatures, I'll be heading out for a walk, which I haven't done in a number of weeks. Before I go, here is an article I thought you'd enjoy! As you guys know, Tanya will be visiting New York in a few weeks, and it got me thinking about fun things to do in New York in the Spring!! 10+ Things to Do in New York in Spring 2019 – April to June Activities & More read more... - Travelin' Elisa xoxo Last of all, our hearts are in great pain over the burning of Notre Dame Cathedral. Monday was in fact a Funday!
What a fun way to kick off the week!
While the kids were off playing around at Disneyland with a friend who was visiting from Seattle; Momma bear went off to the LA Staples Center (home of the LA Lakers) to see PINK - Beautiful Trauma Tour!
Not much time right now...of course - as usual.
But I didn't want to leave you in the dark. The concert was fantastic. We had an excellent time. Pink is an amazing performer. Besides the music being on spot. It was waaay more than a concert... More on all of this when I can get back online. I hate to say it but I have to run - AGAIN. ugh For now I'll leave you with a few photos from last night:
I still need to upload pictures of PINK. So be sure to check back!
But for now, I'ma gonna say toodles and wish you a fine day. -Travelin' Tanya |
