Today is going to be chock full of mini errands before leaving tomorrow for London. THANK GOODNESS ALL THE BAGS ARE PACKED!
Gianna was lagging behind until we had to go shopping yesterday afternoon for yet more "tops" that she said she needed. So, off I went to Sears last night. While at the store, I found a cute pair of jeans for moi!
I wasn't aware that Kelsey needed socks - ugh - why do these kids wait till I'm back from shopping to tell me what they need!!
So, on my list today is a trip back to Old Navy to get socks.
But the best part of my day today - my mani-pedi!!
I cannot wait - my biggest decision will be "what color." After the girls get out of school, I'll take them back to the salon to get their little "pre-vacation pampering." This is when I'll grab a quick back massage while they are getting beautified.
Back to world events - specifically the Moon!
Tonight is a rather interesting evening "moon-wise." For this of you who do no follow astrology (which, I totally do!), the first full moon of spring is known as the Pink Moon, Egg Moon, Grass Moon or Easter Moon.
A Full Moon that occurs between March 21, and April 20th will be in Libra.
This Moon is good for rituals promoting: * justice and fairness * resolving breaches and enabling relationships to go smoothly. * partnership * legal matters * love rituals * airing differences * creating tact * balance & diplomacy * healing the kidneys

And if you didn't know it - I am a LIBRA! Always searching for balance; a lover of peace, beauty, and harmony, the desire to keep everyone happy, find it difficult to say 'NO' and often finding myself stressed! But, oh, so lovable!!
But, I digress..
According to David Wolf.com, there are a number of things that are affected by tonight's rare pink moon in Libra.
See if any of these noticeable changes happen in your life after tonight's Pink Moon:
1. Heightened Energy The pink moon will cause a heightened energy around you. It’s up to you to choose how to channel the energy. You can allow it to become a negative source, or you can use it to better your life and yourself. By welcoming the energy shift with a positive attitude, positive things will follow.
2. Stronger Intuition If you have a gut feeling in the days ahead, don’t ignore it. The pink moon will strengthen your sense of intuition. You’ll feel more connected to your inner self, including your wants, needs, desires and intentions. Listen to your instincts and follow through with your gut feelings.

3. An Awakening The pink moon will bring about a wave of conscious awareness. If you open yourself up to it, it will lead to meaningful self-discovery. Use this time to re-center yourself. Find balance in your life. This new awakening will help you see the future more clearly and allow you to see what path to take.
4. Closer Relationships Ares of communication will be highlighted in the days after the full moon. Use the energy to catch up friends, family members and loved ones. Take the time to reach out to people you haven’t seen in a while and re-connect. Your social skills will be spot on after the pink moon, and you’ll crave closer relationships with loved ones.
I just find the stars and constellations and their affect on our existence so fascinating!
In other travel news, I'm leaving on a jet plane tomorrow to head "across the pond" and our bags are all packed!!
Of course, some of us are neater than others - look at the mess around Gianna's suitcase! Was going to kill this kid!

Thankfully, after a little "chat" she cleaned up the mess.
Well, every trip I take also has an element of melancholy since I have to board my sweet Punkin at the vet for the duration of my travels.
So, I'll be dropping her off later this evening. So sad (insert tears).

I'll be checking in today for our morning flight. The problem is that I booked through Delta (my carrier of choice when traveling internationally), but the particular flight we are on is being handled by Virgin Atlantic.
It's a bit confusing because Delta is sending me the online "Check in" emails, but I cannot check in because the carrier is Virgin Atlantic. What that means is that there is a different flight number, and confirmation number to my booking and I have to go "through" Virgin. I tried to do the check in online through Virgin's website, but it's not happening.
Anyway, I'll have to call Virgin later after I'm all pampered.
ONE OF MY NEW CAMERA MEMORY CARDS FOR OUR LONDON -PARIS TRIP (c) travelincousins.com
I also labeled all my new camera memory cards with "London 2017."
I always label all of my memory cards for easy access when searching for old pictures. Your anal blogger here has very specific ways about keeping my travel memories organized!!
In any case, I have two cameras - a small one for videos and quick pics and my larger, professional camera for those oh, so lovely pictures that require the correct lens.
The kids were giving me a hard time about "taking the big camera" but that's why I bought it in the first place!!
Tanya and I always have tons of "straps" around our necks when traveling - back packs, small cross-over handbag, camera and of course, the wrist strap for the smaller camera.
Such is life and part of the excitement of traveling!!
See ya back tomorrow EARLY before i leave. Cab is picking us up at 5AM for our 8AM flight.
Make it a great one!!
Tanya's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 6 DAYS
The excitement builds!!!
It's Travelin' Tuesday and as of tomorrow Elisa and the girls will be on their way to London!!!
While my trip leaves later and returns later (due to my commitment of not traveling over Easter) in exactly one week from today my gang of three will meet up with Elisa's gang of three for our First ever Travelin' Cousins trip abroad with the kiddos in tow!
My room is absolutely upside with clothes. I am still in the midst of changing out the winter for summer wardrobes. But I can't pack away all of the warm clothing otherwise we'll be left with tanks and shorty shorts and freeze our booties off in the UK. Brrr.
Then we have the mega amount of laundry that needs to be tackled. Plus the luggage still full from this past trip to Moab. Stacks of the kids clothing waiting to be placed inside of luggage. And piles of clothing for donation. Can you imagine?!
So of course a lot of this is on my list to take can of today - before it closes in on me..
Because somehow yesterday I really didn't end up with any time to do any of this. Luckily the day was still rather productive - which always feels good!

One big thing that I did check off of my list was booking the last flight that was on my list for our Summer Trip. It was the one for Dave B. and Dominic to meet Cosette and I in Miami.
It always feels great to know that all of the plans are set and ready to go.
A few other plans that are right around the bend are for our Hawaii trip. The flights, accommodations, car, and restaurants are all set. But I need to get cracking on reserving a few of our tours.
I finally broke out my EPCOT mug (c)travelincousins.com
THIS TRIP IS ONLY 21 DAYS AWAY!!!
So very much to be done in the 20 days that lead up to that departure and when I think of how much I have done in the past 20 days -
I've been to: Park City, Utah Lake Tahoe, Nevada San Francisco, California
And most recently: Moab, Utah
The kids have had 2 performances, I've done all of the wardrobing for our annual Easter family pictures and all of the rest of the chores, errands, kids classes, hitting the gym and LIFE that come in my busy busy lifestyle!
So I'm thinking that although we have Easter, the trip to London, another performance for the kids, Chaplin's 6th Birthday (I can't believe that she is going to be 6 already!!!), and all of the rest of the chores, errands, kids classes, hitting the gym and LIFE that come in my busy busy lifestyle, I think that I'll manage and do it with flying colors!
Anyhow, I'm having a rather busy morning over here, which will lead into a very busy day so I'm gonna keep moving and keep it very short here.
I hope that you have an excellent day and come back to see me tomorrow ;) -T
