Elisa's Daily ScoopHalf-way Through the WeekGood morning and Happy Hump Day! I have to share with you just how great my Spring clean up is going! All this week I've been tackling two home fronts with heavy duty organizing and fix-ups. My primary home was long overdue for a huge "hauling" of old belongs and out of date necessities. I had an extremely productive day on Monday starting with my basement. Having said that, there is a great deal more to do, but 4 large black trash bags later, and giving away large toy items, I'm well underway to completely the job. Two kids' kitchens that I'm giving to Denise Today I'll continue with the basement, and hopefully finish the job - we'll see! It's also been a week of major work out in Remsenburg as well, with my second house, which we will be putting a huge push to sell in the next few months. Last week, my girlfriend, Lisa helped me clear out and do a general cleaning of the place. Then yesterday, we spent the day painting, cleaning the floors and clearing out furniture. I can't take the credit for painting, as it was her handiwork that resulted in a beautifully painted "beach gray" living room!! It feels so good to get things accomplished!! W2GW Covered by Tanya today!! Tanya has it covered today in her Daily Scoop, so be sure to read it all!! ---->>>>---->>>>---->>>> Well, my peeps, I'm off to run errands and finish my basement cleaning!! -E xoxo | Tanya's Daily ScoopAnother Day, more to do!Howdy Everyone! You've made it half way through the week and I hope that your week has been going well so far! It's that time of year for Spring Break! Did you go anywhere or do anything FUN? Answer in the comments. We'd love to hear about it! So far for me this week has been fairly mellow and quite busy at the same time. Know what I mean? I haven't been running around too much, but at the same time I've had a bunch to do and quite happily I'm getting these things done! But it sure has made for the days to go by rather quickly and for me to be confused as to what day of the week it is... I'm happy to announce that Dominic and I have survived past the first week of the 100 Day Fitness Challenge! Yay us! This challenge came in good time, as we are "pseudo training" for the Northern California Gladiator Mud Run in June. I say pseudo, because there is just so much more that we could be doing to train; While at the same time it's a whole lot more than the "training" or should I say lack there of (I didn't train at all) for the last Gladiator Mud Run that we did. Read more HERE The two of us also hit the walls at the Rock Climbing Gym yesterday - I just luv climbing walls! And boy oh boy can it be a good workout and forearm KILLER! Another thing that I did with Dave B last night while watching Dominic in his classes, was purchase tickets to "FINALLY" go see Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella! We'll be seeing it on the night of the day that I get back from our upcoming trip Cousins Yellowstone Road Trip! I've been wanting to go this the performance since it first debuted on Broadway back in early 2013. But every chance I got, we would end up making other plans and seeing another show. Then back in August 2014, when I was about to buy tickets to see the performance (before leaving) for my UK/Scandinavia Trip, I found out that the show was coming to Los Angeles and opening in March (so instead we saw A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Read Elisa's Review HERE). As you should know, my birthday is in March and I thought that it would be a great idea to see it around my birthday! Well the timing didn't quite work between coming home from our Ski Trip to Lake Tahoe, and leaving for my Birthday Trip to the Azores. And now we FINALLY bought tickets!!! Yay! Which leads me into this weeks W2GW (Where to GO Wednesday): Cinderella will only be at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles until April 26th However the show is continuing on the road and hitting several US cities for the next 13+ months! Find a city near you HERE What critics are saying: "I'm a Fan of Cinderella" - Me "A Full-On Romantic Fantasy" - The New York Post "Pure Magic" - The Associated Press "A Timeless Musical Treasure" - The Huffington Post In OC?
