I was floored!
Here's why:
Upon entering this lovely little establishment, we were warmly greeted by Youssef (the owner) and offered several samples of his handcrafted product.
Soft mozzarella basil - Goat "less" - Peccerino - Spicy sharp cheddar - Parmesan - Gorgonzola -
The "Kind" Brie (named in honor of Alicia Silverstone and it being her favorite selection!) -
Feta - a regular Brie - and even Halumi (the national cheese of Cypress - for those of us who didn't know)...
And these are just some of the amazing varieties - which are all a labor of love.
Youssef himself is not (yet) a vegan, he actually started making vegan cheeses for a girlfriend (not an ex), and it took 5 years of development before this amazing little shoppe was opened.
Now, after years of trying the good, the bad and the ugly (which is typically what vegan cheeses are thought of) I found this place was completely off the charts!
With each bite the flavors develop and...the textures are creamy and delicate.
So much more than can be expected or imagined.
Nothing short of Amazing! I didn't question how it was so good, but what took me so long to finally get over there!

However, when chatting with a regular customer (and his lovely mother from Cypress) as to how I heard about Vromage - I honestly couldn't recall - I just knew that it had been on my restaurant bucket list and I thought that I heard about them earlier in 2015 - but then it came to me about an hour after we left that it was actually one of the followers on my Veganfoodgasms Facebook page that had recommended it to me shortly after I had run across it online.
On what page or site I originally heard about it, I still don't recall - but these days everyone who's anyone in the vegan community knows about this amazing place!
Not a day goes by without bloggers coming in taking notes and pictures of his creations, and I was one of them!
In the 10 short months that Vromage has been opened they have received reviews from around the globe including LA Weekly, LA Business Journal, VEBU (Germany), Ren Magazine (Japan), and others.
I promise that you won't leave this cheese shop without being astonished.
Good Food is simply Good Food and Good Food comes from the heart and brings people together!
Bon Appetit,
