Sailing is a splendorous adventure and everybody who leads a nautical lifestyle will agree that it is certainly not a difficult lifestyle to embrace; especially if you live near the ocean or other navigable body of water. Sailing is something to look quite forward to!

Taking a relaxing cruise is also a terrific way to spend hot summer days and warm summer nights. You'll quickly realize that sailing it is mostly about looking after yourself and relieving stress. So if you want to increase the quality of your life by embarking on a sailing adventure - take note:
Here are some of the best worldwide sailing adventures that you can take on!
Picture
#1 - Galápagos Islands, Ecuador
Archipiélago de Colónare, located 906 km west of the continental part of Ecuador. Taking a cruise is the best way to see all the wildlife and complex environment of this volcanic archipelago. You can dive or snorkel by day, or come ashore and explore the wildlife – giant tortoises, iguanas, sea lions, and diverse birdlife. In 1978, the islands were recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and as a biosphere reserve in 1985. They were also removed from the list of sites endangered by environmental threats in 2010. If you have the chance, visit this ecological wonderland, because it is a once-in-a-lifetime visit that will surely impress you.

#2 - Zanzibar
Zanzibar is splashed by the waters of the Indian Ocean. The area is rich in eastern beauty and history. From heavily laden scents and sensual Indian rhythms on the west coast of India, and historic images of old sultans and caliphs of the Oman of yesteryear and ancient Persian kingdoms. The old part of Zanzibar City (the capital) and historical heart of Zanzibar is StoneTown, the birthplace of the famous rock singer Freddie Mercury. It is considered one of Africa’s most expressive and evocative places. The Spice Island’s phenomenal beaches and clear, turquoise waters are its trademarks.

#3 – Croatia
If you have never gotten tangled with the currents of the Adriatic Sea, then Croatia is a must-visit location. The ex-Yugoslavian country is a part of the Balkan Peninsula, and its pleasures are timeless. With an 1800 km coast and 1185 islands, it is more than attractive for continuous exploration. Hvar, Brac and Pag are among the most popular Croatian islands
, where you can taste the best local wine and food, and enjoy the sights of unspoiled nature. Also known as the ‘new Tuscany’ and ‘new Greece’, the Croatian coastline is a dream destination for sailing enthusiasts.

#4 – Bay of Islands, New Zealand
One of the highest rates of boat ownership in the world is on this small island nation. That means only one thing – the waters must be stunning. Clear waters than range in hue from deep blue to turquoise, dozens of coves, and stunning coastal scenery is what characterizes the New Zealand’s Bay of Islands. What makes these islands so attractive is the fact that they escaped development, even though they are an extremely popular location for tourists.

#5 – Greek Islands
When it comes to saying something about Greece, the main question is – how to begin? One of the oldest European country with a long and magnificent history, more than 1400 islands in the waters of Ionian and Aegean Seas, and 300-plus sunny days a year. There is no better way than sailing to explore this gem. There are numerous island groups you can choose to explore, such as Skorpios, Lefkada, and Corfu, and Cyclades When you decide to set off sailing, remember that you will have to get to know the meltemi – a northeasterly wind that blows during the summer.

#6 – Whitsunday Islands, Australia
When one says ‘Whitsundays’, the image corresponds to beautiful islands, crystal clear seas, and cloudless skies. The islands are located off the coast of Queensland, and are actually an ancient half-drowned mountain range visited by about 700,000 people each year. The Queensland shipwrights are thus busy, due to the fact that this is one of the most popular boating destinations in the Southern Hemisphere. No matter whether you are a professional or a rookie, days spent on a boat are mind blowing for everyone that sets apart the shore and sail on the azure seas near Whitsundays Islands.
The French Riviera (France), Canary Islands (coast of Morocco), NileRiver (Egypt), and British Virgin Islands (coast of Puerto Rico) are only some among many locations that sailing aficionados find worthwhile visiting. So, grab you captain’s cap and raise the sail.
