11 Las Vegas Must Dos for the First Timer!

4/8/2016

First of all you must be pretty excited about going to Las Vegas for the first time...and if you're not than you should be! It's Sin City Baby...

Ya know the place where the saying goes "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas" well...perhaps that use to be true. But these days everything that happens in Vegas goes all over social media!

Sorry, but that's the straight up truth - gone are the days when you can be stupid and not have everyone EVERYWHERE find out about it!

Vegas is a very fun and very crazy city. The first time that my Vegas cherry was popped was quite the experience AN UNDERAGE GAMBLER. But certainly not as wacko as some others that I've heard about.

There is a weird mix of young and old, fat and skinny, rich and poor, those with class and the real classless - basically some of the best people watching you'll ever find, and lots of lots of liquid confidence - yeah, too much of that.
But again, it adds color to the great people watching that I mentioned!

How many places can you "travel the globe" seeing an Eqyptian 30-story pyramid topped with a 315,000-watt light beam, ride a roller coaster around the Statue of Liberty, stand under a Giant Leo the Lion - the largest bronze statue in the U.S., walk amongst the Gods at Caesars Palace, and Swim with the Sharks at the Mandalay Bay all in one day and without leaving the same street?!

So where do you begin???

If you are like me and not much interested in gambling and spending my days and nights at the casino tables or slots. Then you wanna get out there and soak in some rays, paint the town, check things out, and of course eat!
I'm not talking about the buffets here, I'm talking some of the best restaurant experiences and food that the USA has to offer... You'll also find some of the world's best swimming pools and clubs in Las Vegas too.
Being that I'm not much of a clubber, I won't be mentioning anything more about the clubs.
But if you happen to be a club hopper, then I'm sure that the clubs in Vegas are already on your to do list!

After visiting Las Vegas countless times, here are my
Top 11 suggestions for a Las Vegas First Timer:
1. The Conservatory at the Bellagio -
*Changing seasonally and one of my favorite spots!

2. Watch the Fountains Dance at the Bellagio

7. Check out the View from the Observation Deck of the Stratosphere
8. Admire the Auto Collection at the Linq
9. Watch a Volcano erupt before your eyes at the Mirage

11. Go to the Neon Boneyard Museum

Not in any particular order and barely scratching the surface of just how much there is to do. It's amazing how much they've crammed into/onto the STRIP!

Now go have fun,

Her professional career and background was in film (writing, production and acting). Currently she is a stay at home mom - who is hardly ever at home, and who’s passions are: everything travel related, food (both cooking and eating), photography, skiing and of course, shopping!
