Join Elisa as she and Tanya meet up for a trip to Walt Disney World this Fall!

Tips for Disney World

Disney World with the Cousins!

"Disney" has always been an annual event in my family.  From the time the girls were younger and even before they were born, it seems we always had an annual event to one or more of the Disney theme parks.

This year, we are headed to Orlando during my favorite time of the year!  The month of October, which also happens to be when the Epcot Food and Wine Festival takes place. Visiting during this time is quite an experience as there are a plethora of different food and beverage kiosks throughout the various country pavilions, which expands the experience of being in Disney that much more.

This also happens to be a trip that we will be sharing with Tanya and her gang! What fun!  And if that isn't enough, two of "us cousins" have birthdays in the month of October - me and Tanya's little sweetie, Cosette!

Here's the basic itinerary, thus far...

ITINERARY

DAY 1
Arrive Orlando
DISNEY SPRINGS
This section of Walt Disney World was formerly known as Downtown Disney and is the only area that does not require admission.  It is a lovely marketplace filled with shops, a few rides for the kiddies including a carousel, and a variety of quick stop and sit-down restaurants.

Since me and the girls arrive mid-afternoon, we thought we would just chillax and take a leisurely stroll at the Springs, do some shopping and indulge on whatever food strikes our fancy.

Tanya and her gang will be doing some sightseeing around Orlando this day, so my trio will be on our own on our first day.

DAY 2
MAGIC KINGDOM
This is our favorite of all the theme parks within Walt Disney World and our itinerary has us visiting twice during our short weekend stay.

* All Day in the Park
* Evening: Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace
We always like to do one special event during our Disney visit, so this time, we will be experiencing the Fireworks Dessert Party, which also happens to be a new attraction.

DAY 3
EPCOT
Yay - today we'll be spending the day at Epcot with the cousins!!!
* Attractions & Food & Wine Festival

DAY 4
DISNEY'S BOARDWALK HOTEL
Me and the girls thought it would be fun to something a little different this trip and decided to spend the day at Disney's Boardwalk Hotel and partake in the local activities, which will include:

* Rent Bicycles and/or Surrey
* Boardwalk Bakery
* Funnel Cake Cart
* Dinner (at one of the Boardwalk Hotel Restaurants)
* Watch Fireworks across at Epcot
