Elisa's Top 5 Favorite Disney Items on Amazon to Bring to the Theme Parks

8/19/2018

Who doesn't enjoy shopping?? And I can tell you from first-hand experience, that one place that inspires shopping and purchases is Walt Disney World.

The problem can be that making purchases in the parks can be rather expensive.  As an alternative, why not buy some of the must-have items prior to your trip! Save money and be prepared to be "Disneyed-Out" once you arrive!!

Here are my personal faves that me and my gang are bringing on our upcoming trip!

1. Disney Mickey Mouse Drawstring Backpack 2 Pack: $10.35
String bags are the perfect item with which to walk around the Disney parks! They are lightweight, able to hold a few or many items and keep things hands free.  Of course, they also make great airplane carry on bags for the kids on your way to the Magical Place!

2. Mickey Mouse Ears: $5.16
Minnie Ears are so timeless!  The headband style is easy to wear, stow and will get your crew in the Disney mood before you even arrive. Such fun to walk around the park with and and feel festive!!

3. New Fashion Disney Tops - Minnie Fashion Contrast Shoulder Top: $14.99
This is really my weak spot. I am a t-shirt, sweatshirt, pajama, cap addict when it comes to traveling in general. However, when it comes to Disney merchandise, I just want it all!

The days of plain and simple t-shirts are gone.  Today, the Disney licensed apparel is not only fashion forward in terms of styles and materials, but the design itself is so sophisticated that the last thing you feel like is a walking billboard.  You can snag some great deals if you buy your clothing before you get to the park.

You can be sure that on our upcoming trip, me and my girls will be getting a few new "things" that are wearable, including t-shirts, caps and hoodies!!

4. Disney Trading Pins - 2018 Disney Parks Pin Trading Starter Set: $24.99
One thing I always regret is not getting started on my trading pin collection earlier, considering how many times I've visited Disney World and Disneyland.   I started collecting pins with the girls, and we add to our collection all the time.

If you haven't already done so, why not start your collection prior to departure! What's fun is that you can show them off walking around the park as well as at home on backpacks.  There are so many cools ones to choose from!

5. Autograph Book - Disney Mickey Mouse Black Spiral Autograph Book: $5.79
Now we all know that the costume characters walking around the park are really people inside. But, what fun is it to harp on such details. And besides, kids don't know the difference!

One of my favorite memories of Disney World with my kiddies was watching as the various characters signed their autograph book. Each character has their own signature and my kids would look through that autograph book over and over!

And if you are not going to any of the Disney theme parks any time soon these make wonderful gifts as well!!
