That’s right! After a heartfelt chat last night, Tanya and I decided we truly missed daily blogging with you.
The "Daily" Scoop is Back!
The last year was very crazy for each of us cousins on many levels and that is why we decided to reduce our blogging schedule. But now that we have both settled into new schedules and routines we are very eager to get back on track with The “Daily” Scoop. I'm sure you've noticed that we are back to calling it The Daily Scoop!!
Life has changed a great deal throughout 2020 when it comes to travel, but, in spite of the challenges that have hit the travel industry, Tanya and I have continued our adventures, locally, in a safe and sensible manner. We have amped up our vlogging as well, which can be seen pretty much on a daily basis on our social media, namely, our Instagram page (@TraveinCousins). We are always uploading and adding these short vlogs to our Home as well, which we truly hope you enjoy watching!

- Travelin' Elisa and Travelin' Tanya
Hey Hey Hey! It's Sunday and we are happy...not change that to we are THRILLED to be here with you! As you can see, there are a lot of great things happening here with the Travelin' Cousins brand. It's a rather exciting time! Lucky Elisa to actually have some nice autumn weather. And I'm beyond glad whenever I travel to places where I can experience the seasons. But here in SoCal we pretty much get varying degrees of Summer all year long. UGHHHH HOT HOT HOT. It's actually too hot for me to be outside today. So with that in mind we will be heading to the mall, I need to get the face of my iphone repaired - it slipped out of my hand while in Crested Butte and I now have a few cracks on the face and a ghetto looking phone atm. LOL We also hope to get some ideas for Cosette's birthday, which is less than 2 weeks away...And which happens to be the day before our trip to Florida. As you probably know, I love fresh juices, smoothies and Acai bowls. Well regardless of it feeling like summer, the Autumn/Fall flavors are definitely everywhere we look. Pumpkin is just about on every menu out there, but yesterday we found another one that is fun, flavorful and full of yummy goodness - a Carrot Cake Bowl! And Cosette was all of trying this smoothie bowl delight. Be sure to bop on and check out and subscribe to our new Travelin' Cousins YouTube page. Also I hope that you are already following us on all social media pages. We are glad to be baaaack in your inbox on the daily, -Travelin' Tanya | Hello there! Wow - lots of great stuff coming with Travelin' Cousins right? As for me, I'm thoroughly enjoying the cooler weather we have been having here in New York, and most specifically, on Long Island. It's Harvest season here and I'll be visiting a few local farms this week - which I'll be sharing with you! Weekends have become a bit busy since Gianna has joined the choir at church a few months ago. She is a lead soprano and serves at mass both Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings, every other weekend. This is one of the weekends that she is singing. I actually woke up very early today - for a Sunday morning - and enjoyed a 2-1/2 mile walk at 7am with one of my friends who is the mom of Kelsey's school mate for the past 10 years. Ironically, my new house is just around the corner from her's so now we are also neighbors! Our two girls went off to the same high school this year so they are not only bus-mates, but they are in the same class as well! Our walk was VERY invigorating - I just love getting out in the fresh air bright and early, which I don't often get a chance to do during the week. I usually wind up taking my 3-5 mile walk later in the afternoon. I'm hopeful we can make this a weekly thing! I managed to snap a few photos of the neighborhood fall flowers. Nothing too exciting, but they were very colorful and caught my eye! October also happens to be National Pizza and Pasta Month so Tanya will be bringing you some interesting and droolworthy information - and pictures - to celebrate these beloved foods!! Hope it's a great day! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
