Boosting your immune system for health at home and while traveling
Hey there,
Been fighting a bad cold since the weekend but today, I actually feel like I'm on the mend. For me, I only get sick when I'm under stress. The past few months have been extremely stressful with selling our house, finding a new one, doing all the necessary financial steps to purchase the house, putting a plan together to do some renovations on the new house and of course, the arduous job of packing!!! I have felt as if I'm thinking about what I have to do and how to do it every waking moment and I find myself dreaming about it and waking up with similar "to do's" running through my head. Needless to say, this past weekend, I spiraled down with this awful cold. Now, what really annoys me with myself is that in thinking back, in conjunction with the stress, I was managing NOT to eat and drink as well as I do when I'm not under stress AND I was failing to have my daily juices and supplements. I'm a firm believer that our bodies stop us dead in our tracks as a reminder "Hey there, remember me? You are not focusing enough attention on taking care of us." When travel becomes a part of the mix, it is even more vital that we get proper nutrition and immune boosters that come from juicing and other natural supplements to fight the many germs that we encounter at airports, airplanes and hotels. One of my usual daily rituals, aside from starting the day with a freshly made juice, is to have a dose of an immune booster.
In my opinion after trying lots of natural and organic immune products on the market, Nature's Way has one of the best. I feel confident stating that it's one of the best because of the personal results I have experienced both for me and the girls.
When taken for a cold, it really cuts down the "sick" time in healing. And as a daily immune booster, well, it prevents sickness. Of course, the key is you need to take it lol, which I was terribly remiss the past few months and combine that with skipping my juices and being stressed to the max, here I sit in bed as the result. As far as the price, it's pretty reasonable. I know on Amazon, it is available for as little as $10 for a 4-ounce bottle. You can also find it at The Vitamin Shoppe, where I usually purchase mine. This week it was on sale for a little over $11 for a 4-ounce bottle. Of course, it's easy enough to take traveling with you as well!
