From Disney Springs and now off to JAPAN!

Hello, Happy Monday and Greetings!

We have slacked (again) in getting these blogs out. Neither of us can believe that we are actually still finishing up from our wonderful trip together to Orlando and we will be onward to JAPAN!

Yup I said JAPAN alright…

I’am actually at the LAX airport right now, waiting to board.
I am one of those who enjoys arriving to the airport in plenty of time not to stress about anything to do with my flight. I have had my fairy share of running to catch connecting flights and I’ll tell you first hand - I don’t like it. It’s no fun and it’s definitely best to avoid running through an airport - if you can.

As I am sitting here, I’m listening to the others travelers that surround me and hearing them speak and practice speaking Japanese. Hmm…ya know, I had wanted to pick up and practice a few words here and there…but as it turns out, I sort of didn’t do any of that. We shall have to see how I manage this.

Anyhow, before I leave this country and head FAR EAST and literally into tomorrow, let’s talk about the last couple of days that Elisa and I spent in Orlando. More specifically at Disney Springs and also at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Disney Springs Shopping and Disney Resort Eating!

Well hello there!!
A few days have gone by since Tanya and I returned from our amazingly fun cousins Florida Trip!! And we have lots to catch you up on. We hope you enjoy this blog as it's sort of a "transition" from one trip to another!!

We had a blast the last few days of our Orlando trip together last month as you can see from the photos below.

As you probably know by now, Tanya and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE shopping. And what better place to shop than in Disney Springs.

With so many stores, we literally went into every one - both the Disney-themed ones and the branded shops and boutiques!
We both wasted no time getting a jump on our Christmas shopping and managed to enjoy some personal purchases as well!

One of the fun highlights for Tanya and I was our trip to the Disney's Polynesian Village. If you haven't visited this Disney property, it's a must. Designed beautifully, everything is themed to feel as if you are visiting the beautiful tropics of Hawaii!

We enjoyed a wonderful plant-based breakfast at Kona Cafe in the resort.

Our trip also included an amazing family brunch at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Saana.

Our trip is one to remember and it actually made us realize that we have to do more traveling together in the next year, as we have both been encumbered with work responsibilities that have put a crimp in our travel schedules!! But, we will be bringing you more travel adventures together for sure!

As you can see, Tanya has been enjoying her trip to Japan over the past few days and boy, have we got some interesting things to bring you up to date on during the next few days!!

Special note to Tanya - Tanoshimu!! (which means have fun in Japanese!

The rest of our day was spent bopping around Disney Springs and having a lovely pasta dinner at Terralina Crafted Italian.

But it was really the next day that we managed (well it wasn’t really all that hard) to do some shopping damage both at the Polynesian Village Resort and at back at Disney Springs!

We started our day by preloading our energy and having our breakfast at Kona Cafe. We then walked around the property having fun and taking pictures - as you will usually find us doing.
