Memories of Five Boro Bike Tour 2018 & Elisa writes for "Heart of the Bronx"
Hey there and Happy Saturday!
As you guys may know, tomorrow is the 5 Boro Bike Tour. I was supposed to ride in it, but, with all that has been going on personally in my family with Dad, I was unable to train for this (trust me, I needed to work my way up to this!), and will not be participating tomorrow. 
However, Tanya, who has been making her way cross country this week, will most certainly be there! I know she'll have lots to tell about her adventure.

I know she is super stoked for this event and I'm sure she'll be giving us the full details in her Scoop today, as she arrives in New York City and gets ready for the big day tomorrow!
In other news... My little girls had a school dance last night. Actually, it was Kelsey's Father Daughter Dance (without a father, of course and unfortunately) and her big sis not only went to help out with the work at this event, but was also there to share in the fun with her sister!! Here the are as we were about to depart for the event!

As for me, I'm thrilled to announce that I will be writing an ongoing blog column about The Bronx for "Heart of the Bronx."
As you know, after my divorce, I was forced to curb my travel a bit, due to lots of to do's on my end and I began writing about local travel and destinations in the outer boroughs of New York City and Long Island. 
Well, this led to a weekly column in ThisIsTheBronx.info, beginning last April 2018, as you are well aware, if you have been following Travelin' Cousins.
Most recently, I was asked to write a twice-weekly column for Heart of the Bronx, focusing specifically on the arts, travel, culture, food and happenings, Check it out! our launch article - The Future of The Bronx is Huge read more
