Elisa's Daily ScoopCatch-up MondayWelcome to a new week! The weekend was great!! The kids had a blast at horseback riding. Considering they hadn't ridden for a number of months, they did fabulous! Here is Kelsey doing a jump! APOLOGIES... First I need to apologize to you regarding yesterday's Daily. I think Tanya and I got our signals crossed about posting our blog. So, unfortunately, neither of us posted The Daily Scoop. :-( So, here is a link to yesterday's Daily Scoop. APRIL ALREADY?? Can you believe that we are practically in April? I just can't fathom how fast this month went by. April is a very busy and fun-filled month for me. I have a number of shows, and a trip this month. This is what my APRIL calendar is looking like so far: April 1st: Skylight April 5th: Easter Sunday (at Carlo's Mom's) April 6th -11th: Girl's Easter Break (we have not planned anything yet, but I'm sure we'll have a bunch of fun things doing during this week!) April 11th: Opera: Ernani April 15th: Brownie Troop Trip to Build a Bear April 17th: Father-Daughter Dance April 18th: Leave or Yellowstone Trip April 25th: Return from Yellowstone Trip Monday, Monday... Today is filled with errands and lots of phone calls for scheduling. I'll be taking Tedd first thing to pick up his new Maserati at the dealer. I'm not a really car person, but I'm kinda excited about this vehicle. Then I need to hit the store for a few items for dinner. I'm making a side dish tonight of "Roasted Asparagus and Artichoke Hearts" - yum!!! I also have to finish a bunch of bookings (that I never got to yesterday! yikes). I managed to order play tickets to "Gigi" which I'll be taking the girls to see to celebrate Gianna's 11th Birthday in May. I got seats in the first row center mezzanine!!! Dontcha just love Tanya's pictures from her last day in the Azores?? ---->>>>---->>>>---->>>> I have to talk to her in greater detail about this destination and see about getting it on my travel wish list!! Well, off to get all my "ToDo's" done!! Wishing you a wonderful day!! -E xoxo | Tanya's Daily ScoopBack in the States!Monday Madness! Remember how very perfect my trip was going? Well, it did go 99% PERFECT! Until our flight had maintenance issues and got delayed, causing us to miss our connection, and stay overnight in Boston. Aside from our schedule mishaps, yesterday was another quite wonderful day on the island! Great views, amazing locations, and then dabbles of good luck left right and center! We said our good byes to the Azores for now, but I have a feeling it won't be too long before we are back to say our hellos once again! Flying above the islands was quite a sight to be seen. We passed over the island of Pico. Catching glimpses of Ponta do Pico, the highest point of all the islands in this archipelago, and peaking high above clouds. As well as flying above and seeing the Capelinhos Volcano on Faial island which was rather large and quite surreal! YIKES! And then we have this morning, where we'll be on my way back to SoCal from Boston. It'll be quite a change in scenery and weather! It's gonna be time to break out the summer clothes! Later on this evening I'll be right be on a normal routine and the kids have choir rehearsal. Plenty to catch up on and do before our next trip...which departs in 15 days! Until tomorrow, -T PS - I apologize to all of our readers and subscribers. It seems our Daily emails have been a bit screwy. I'm back in the states and without any wifi issues, so I will be back on making sure that we are posted in time for your daily reading pleasure and to keep up with the antics of a couple of Travelin' Cousins! |
