I am baaaaack home after a fantastic road trip and the last of my ski trips for this 2015-16 season.
As you can see I leave again in almost 3 weeks, and this will actually be the longest that I've been home since... December!
Dominic and I checked out of our hotel (see note) and hit the road yesterday, saying our good byes to Park City and Utah.
We drove through some beautiful scenic roads of Utah and then down into Arizona where the landscape drastically changes - IMMEDIATELY! I'm pretty sure that if I were dropped into Arizona without being told where I was - I would be able to tell. LOL
NOTE: How weird is this - upon check out the hotel reception thought that Dominic and I were a couple! OMGEEEE - I tried to take it as a compliment, but please don't mistaken a boys mother for his girlfriend!
After Arizona, we made it into Nevada and you know what that means...we were heading straight for Ronald's Donuts!
But once we got there, we were hit with major disappointment. It appeared that all the vegans before us (heading to Expo West) had practically cleaned them out!!!
So we got what we could (there were of course donut requests from home), and I made sure to inform the sweet owner of next years (2017) dates for Expo West, so she would be more prepared with more donuts!!! She was so happy that I gave her the information, and apologized over and over for their empty donut case.
Next up was hitting the Las Vegas strip which is LARGER THAN LIFE and going to lunch.
After ordering and getting carded (what the heck is going on today?!) we had a lovely lunch at the Mandalay Bay before hitting the road once again for the last stretch back home.
On the rest of the drive, we encountered GUSTY WINDS (in the desert), and a passing rain storm. Combine the two and expect ZERO visibility and pretty horrid conditions.

Thankfully we got home safe and sound!
I walked in and got THE WORLD BIGGEST HUG from Chaplin, Mika, and Cosette (I nearly fell over)!
Now that is what I call a Sweet Life <3
These are a couple of very silly girls!
Which all brings us to today - Saturday, and the long awaited Expo West - The world's largest and premier tradeshows for the natural, organic and healthy products industry.
The Natural Products Expo is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public.
But little 'ol Tanya is going as Press, and I will be reporting LIVE via Instagram and FaceBook, and of course coming back here to share the FULL SCOOP with you on all the new products to look forward to and what's happening behind the scenes!
Catch ya back here tomorrow with the whole SCOOP, -T

Mellow Saturday on Long Island
GREETINGS FROM LONG ISLAND!
I'm here in Riverhead, writing to you, as my girlies are horseback riding. My poor Kelsey is very distraught about "Not" currently leasing a horse.
Ideally, to become a good rider, you should work with the same horse to build your skills through the relationship with rider and horse working together. For Gianna, "All-Star" is that horse.
The problem is that All-Star is one of those horses that many kids want to ride. So, in order to be sure that he was "available" for my girl to ride each week, it was necessary for me to lease him, so he is allocated to her and not given or leased to someone else.
In Kelsey's case, "Ace" is the best match for her at present. He is not as much in demand, so fortunately, she does not "need" to lease him. But, there is a psychological component to leasing as well... Knowing that a horse is "yours" is very empowering to a child. The idea that the horse cannot be ridden by anyone else when you are there, is a very special feeling. As a result, until her trainer tells us that there is a chance of "losing" Ace, we are saving the money. But, the downside is that it makes Kelsey feel sad and "different" than her sister.
Little "Ace" who Kelsey wants to lease
I'll be heading back to the barn to film my kiddies riding this afternoon.
Well, as you can see, I have 8 more days till I leave for Florida! Going to pack tomorrow so it's one less thing to do this week. This Tuesday, I'm heading for the Viking Exhibition. Definitely check out this link for discount tickets through Goldstar.
I need to reschedule my trip to the Bronx Botanical Gardens for the Orchid Show and my tour of the Grand Concourse, which I needed to cancel due to recovering daughters!
Please do NOT miss Tanya's side for more of her travel wrap-up of her recent trip to Utah!
