I'm just bopping in here with a quick greetings on a very busy day.
I wasn't even sure that I would be able to do this much!
Cosette and I just returned from dropping off little Goldie at the vet's office to be spayed. Poor thing. But it is for the better good.
I'm gonna be heading out here in a minute to go and get my hair done - as this is my last opportunity before leaving for our east coast trip as well as leaving tomorrow for Austin, Texas.
And it's a good thing that I'm getting my hair done because I've gotta tell ya, it's looking rather awful this morning.
Many more appointments and errands for the day. I kid you not when I tell you that this is my ONLY free time until tonight... Which we found out last night that Dominic's class was cancelled and so we made plans to go the the Fanthom Events Movie - The Godfather on the big screen...GREAT FILM!
And because it is a 3 hour movie - that will mean that we'll be having a late dinner.
Luckily I pretty much managed to finish packing (for the most part) last night. Still plenty more odds and ends to throw in for the big trip and a few more wee things for the little trip.
I am also pretty much finished with the organization and outfit planning - which is a big deal.
Anyhow my time has run out. I've gotta run.
Catch ya on my way to Austin!!
Ciao 4 now, -T
Elisa's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 20 DAYS
Hump Day quickie
Hi there! Hump day here and to my great surprise, the sun made an appearance today (even though the weather forecast said rain). Yay!
Gonna be a bit of a short one today kids, since I have to study with Kelsey for her social studies final tomorrow.
By the time I signed on today to write my Scoop, Tanya had already finished her's and as I made my way down past the story of Goldie going to get spayed and the stats about what NOT neutering a dog can produce in unwanted puppies, I then came to her account of how they will be going to see The Godfather on the big screen!!
Anyone that knows me, is well aware that The Godfather is probably my all-time favorite motion picture!!
It is so classic! I have personally seen Godfather I and Godfather II it at least 20 times and I have some close friends that have enjoyed these films many more times that this!
For the true fans, there is The Godfather Epicis a a 424-minute cut of Francis Ford Coppola’s first two Godfather films, recut in chronological order and bolstered with a number of scenes cut from the theatrical releases in 1972 and 1974.
Many may remember, back in 1977, The Godfather Saga or The Godfather: The Complete Novel For Television—that aired as a miniseries on NBC back in 1977 and was later released on VHS.
The Godfather Epic began streaming on HBO Go and HBO Now back in January 2016.
Although seeing a 7-hour chronological cut of these great masterpieces is quite an experiences, some might argue that the artistic beauty of the original movies is lost. For me, any way to get my Godfather on is okay with me!!
Well, my dear peeps, this is a short one for both Tanya and I - - enjoy your Hump day!!
