Housekeeping DayHello! Starting a new day today after a fantastic night! Had a fabulous night with Mom in the city last night - dinner and "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill." Another great show to add to the list of Entertainment reviews, which I'll be posting on Monday. Also, yesterday, I was notified that another one of my articles - Honfleur: A Charming French Seaside Town - was published on IndependentTraveler.com. I promised myself last week that I would do a lot of organizing around the house and this includes packing up old clothes, books and other miscellaneous things and clear them out of here. Clutter certainly accumulates quickly around here and I'm finding it hard to think! This will take up most of my morning. Then a few errands including getting my vacuum cleaner fixed (I know, not terribly glamorous but it has to get done). Going to have a big sleepover at my house tonight with my nephews , which should be a lot of fun or the girls. So, off I go to do my errands - I guess you need these kinds of days in between all the travel and running around! Have a great one!!! Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing. —Phyllis Diller | Almost about to get Busy!Howdy Folks! Another Fun edition of TBT - Throwback Thursday is posted and ready for you to go take a look at. This week I actually didn't throwback all that far, I only took you back to February of this year (2014) for a trip to Vegas on Crutches! Please offer your congrats to Elisa for her being published on Independent Traveler! Honfleur is definitely a most Charming French Seaside Town! I've been having such a delightful time adding all of the finishing touches to the UK/Scandinavia trip! Counting down...39 days to go!! And yet still so much to do in between! Going away for Independence Day Weekend to San Diego. Then heading back east the following week. We'll of course be in NYC, but we'll also going to Lake Winnipeasaukee, NH; to Boston, MA; and to Philly, PA on that visit. It's definitely gonna be filled with lots of fun stuff to keep us mighty busy! Plus the joys of getting to visit with family and having all the cousins together and enjoying each others company is very heart warming for me! I know how much Dominic & Cosette always look very forward to their summers back east! Now go get to it! Catch ya tomorrow, -T |
