Tanya's Daily Scoop
CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: NEW HAMPSHIRE
Catching up
So off we went.
However being that it was a Sunday the Mall of New Hampshire closed at 6pm not giving us much time to really do any damage. We pulled up and walked in around 5pm, giving the kids only about an hour to shop.
Luckily this mall had one of Cosette's favorite stores and it was easy peasy for her to pile on loads of things to try on. Dominic is a bit more difficult to shop with as he is very frugal in his taste.
On the other hand he is much easier to shop for - as he will appreciate, wear and really like things that are picked out for him, whereas Cosette is really hit and miss and if she doesn't like something bought for her it will be hidden deep down into the depths of her closet!
Anyhow the kids only got to hit the one store and they still walked out happy campers... Now where to fit all of these extra bags!
After all that work shopping we had developed an appetite and it was a good time to go to dinner.
Being that New Hampshire is not known for it's vegan fare there are not all that many places of which we can all eat happily. Luckily a few years ago we found a Chinese restaurant that caters to both vegans and non-vegans alike and have been going there for meals ever since!
We filled our tummies and then heading back to Raymond for the night. It was Dave and Dominic's last night on this segment of the trip.
I've gotta say good bye to Dominic (for a few days) and to Dave until the end of the trip. I think they've had enough vacation and are ready to head home.
Then Cosette and I have a long day on the road through Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and into Pennsylvania. As a treat we are heading to Vegan Treats and then to Philly for some sights, picking up some goods for our rail adventure and dinner.
Catch ya'll tomorrow,
-T
