A Mellow Weekend Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY IN: ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA HOWDY FOLKS! I had a rather MELLOW weekend. Which is so different from my typical day to day and even my usual weekends. My Friday actually DID NOT go according to schedule, so I opted that the hiccup was enough for me to take off the rest of the day and enjoy another 3 day weekend. I did actually have a lot of computer work to catch up on; but all in all I hardly escaped the house. That is of course with a few minor exceptions... I hit up the gym with Cosette on Friday. Friday nights are also 1 of our 3 weekly nights that we share in a big Fam Bam dinner - Thursdays at my place, Fridays at Jet's. and on Sundays I cook for the Fam Bam at my mom's/Brigitte's. On Saturday, I had gone to an acupuncture appointment that I managed to book at the same time as Dominic's appointment, that way we were both able to carpool along with being able to share in the wellness time together. Esmeralda (Dominic's girlfriend) had then come over and later in the afternoon we had all went along with Cosette, Mika and Brigitte to enjoy in some refreshing Snow Cones! Mika was then in the mood for Mangos! Personally I don't know how anyone could be in the mood for mangos - I might be the only person in the world who HATES MANGOS. LOL Anyhoo, since we were on foot we decided to walk over to the nearby grocery market and fulfill her mango desire. I subsequently watched the Yankees get their butts whipped by the Red Sox- not a good night. And then on Sunday, since Dave C. is not currently living here on the west coast, we didn't really have any festive plans. Liz had asked if I could watch Dawson for some hours and that became part of my Father's Day plans... Fun-time with this cute little guy! Once the little guy's mommy (Liz) picked him up, we were off to the Italian Market to stock the pantry of my favorite P work - PASTA! I also had some more grocery shopping to do, which I did at Sprouts. The plan was to then watch the rubber game of the series (NYY vs BOS). Well it was blacked out. So I opted to listen to it on the radio (as I made the sauce) and it was another game that we LOST to the Red Sox. ughhhhhh Oh well. Can't win them all. Anyhow, we had a lovely Sunday Dinner with the FamBam, played a game of Family Feud and then called it a night. Back to the grind today. Haha See ya all on Thursday. Ciao 4 now, -Travelin' Tanya | Father's Day Fun | Staying Aliive Wellness Center featured on The High V.I.B.E. Show Elisa's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY IN: LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK Happy Monday!!! New Week, New Adventures!! One Week Countdown to Disney World!! Well folks, a week from today, me and my two best girls will be headed to Orlando for 5 fun-filled days in Disney World. While I'm completely excited, I'm slightly dreading the hot weather. But, I'm grateful for the chance to have alittle R&R from this killer year of building my coaching business and to spend time with Gianna and Kelsey! I've decided that I'm going to be very, very casual and I'm not even going to fuss with my hair. I have a ton of cute baseball caps, breathable tee shirts and comfy shorts. No fuss, no worry! This trip is going to be a little different than our previous trips (which probably number around 9) in that we are only spending 2 days in 2 parks. Usually, we hit all four theme parks, but this time we are only going to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. While we love Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, we decided that we'll take a few days to visit other Disney Resort properties and check out a few of their restaurants and the grounds. (Here's a little throwback to our Animal Kingdom trip in 2015 ) One little excursion I'm really looking forward to is our visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (which we stayed at years ago when the girls were little). We've been talking about having lunch at their restaurant Sanaa for a few trips now, and we finally have it on the itinerary. (which I previewed a few days ago in "11 Day Countdown to Disney" blog. And of course, we'll enjoy the shopping and eating in Disney Springs as well and maybe even a relaxing at the hotel pool! Sunday Father's Day Dinner Fun I hope everyone had a nice Father's Day yesterday!! For me, it was pretty much an ordinary Sunday. With my dad gone, and Gianna working, it was just me, Kelsey and my mom and we decided to participate in the Father's Day dinner festivities at my mom's golf club. Before heading over to pick up Mom and head to the club, Kelsey and I decided to go for a refreshing freshly brewed iced tea at The French Workshop in Garden City. It was such a beautiful day! Kelsey got confirmation on three of her classes, so she shared some information about them while I enjoyed my berries!! Our dinner reservation was for 4:30, which was perfect timing after spending some a leisurely morning sipping our tea and soaking up the sun outside. The indoor and outdoor dining areas of the club were decorated beautifully with a green theme and absolutely lovely floral arrangements adorning every table, as well as the buffet areas. The food was plentiful - most of which was not vegan-friendly, however, what they did have that was plant-based, was just delicious! There was so much attention to detail - particularly when it came to the centerpiece Golfer ice sculpture and the lovely carvings made out of fruit and veggies!!! Moving right along.... Today, is the third Monday of the month, one of 2 days a month that I go live with my video podcast, The High V.I.B.E. Show on The Transformation Network. My special guest is Mel Carmine, who, in addition to being an expert in digital assets and the future financial model based on a “quantum financial system (QFS) manual” and digital assets as currency, he is also the founder of the Staying Aliive Wellness Center in Miami, Florida. The technology used at this center is EESystem, which is a revolutionary technology that creates an enhanced energy field to promote healing and overall well-being. It generates multiple bio-active life-enhancing energy fields, including “scalar waves,” which have been shown to enable the body to heal itself. I was fascinated by this technology and that's why I invited Mel onto my show! Being a big believer in natural healing methods, I wanted to share with my viewers/listeners more details about the EESystem because it provides the body with the energy it needs to heal itself, unlocking its incredible potential. The way it works in a simplified explanation is that when exposed to the scalar waves generated by the EESystem, the electromagnetic field of the individual is awakened and energized, optimizing the mind/body complex and balancing the right and left hemispheres of the brain. How Amazing!! Catch the reply of my 30-minute interview HERE. Well, that's all for now! -Travelin' Elisa |
