Tanya's Scoop Covering the West Coast & the World CURRENTLY IN: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA How’ve you been? I’m for one am so excited to be back! I’m also super excited to have Elisa back. We’ve both missed you guys so much and life without you just isn’t the same. In fact I’m sure right now life for most people has been anything but the same - if ya know what I mean. The great news is that we are gonna bring some of your favorite Travelin’ Cousins flair back onto the scene! No matter if you are sitting on the beach in some exotic location or sitting at home on the couch practicing social distancing and/or in Quarantine, the least we can do is bring you a few laughs as well as a few glimpses of the world around you. Because if you’re anything like me and not out there doing it, then you just might have the time to be planning it! Perspective is everything and our perspective is that we can explore and have fun anywhere... With that being said I’m currently finishing up with packing, as the (big) kids and I are about to venture off on our annual family visiting trip back on the East Coast. Our plans are far from what we expected them to be, as many a family member has decided to lock themselves in the houses until the government tells them that it’s okay to come back out and play. And that’s perfectly okay, in fact that is actually giving us more time in our schedule to explore! Upcoming topics on The Scoop will include: -What to do in Kitty Hawk, NC -Floating around in the Truckee River -Exploring the North Shore of Lake Superior -What it’s like to be Cruising AGAIN after Covid19 See ya back in a jiffy, -Travelin’ Tanya | Elisa's Scoop Covering Long Island & NYC Boroughs CURRENTLY IN: LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK HELLO THERE!! Yes, it's been way too long since either of us have been on here. Life just reared its crazy head and both Tanya and I, unfortunately, got caught up in the craziness. We pray that you are all safe and sound and are making it through the covid-19 pandemic. Happily, we are both fine and are doing our best to adjust to the way in which the world around us has changed. As for me, the past seven months have been filled with a great many changes including a new house, lots of renovations and a big plans going forward for our blog and what we will be bringing to you. I HAVE MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! There are a few changes you might have noticed boppin' around our site. Our HOME page has been and will continue to undergo a few updates and changes. As for The Daily Scoop, it will now simply be "THE SCOOP." Since May of 2014, Tanya and I have cherished being able to come to you daily, but as we usher in a new decade and in an effort to be more consistent, we will now be blogging 4 times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday each week. Each of us will continue to be covering our respective adventures in travel and dining. You can expect a great deal more continued coverage of New York City's Outer Boroughs from me, which will include The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island as well as the boroughs of Long Island, which include Nassau and Suffolk. I'll be bringing you exciting info about places to visit, virtual tours to take and of course, local travel hacks around the outer New York City area. This will be featured on my blog as well as on the link page, Weekends are Better in the NYC OuterBoroughs with Elisa. Additionally, don't forget to check in each hump day for Walt Disney Wednesdays with Elisa and Kelsey, where we will feature something exciting about Orlando's Disney Theme park. Whether it's things you should be aware of with all the new changes since Covid-19 or exciting news about rides, dining and entertainment experiences at the park, you can count on getting the Disney Scoop right here! Here are just a few of the stories to look forward to on Elisa's Scoop:
What's more, Tanya will be venturing east this month and we gals and our respective gangs will be meeting up for some fun and good eats in Little Italy in The Bronx. We are so excited about all we will be bringing to you going forward. With much love and happiness to be back, -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
