25 Valentine's Gifts for the Vegan in Your Life
Hello all!
How is your day going? It's Valentine's Day! Did you get your love (or Loves, in my case - my girls) something special? We all decided on my end that we were going to get some special Valentine's sweet treats in Disney World - specifically, Erin McKenna's Bakery in Disney Springs!!!
I also promised the girls they could pick out one special souvenir/gift from our trip as well. Of course, this is in addition to all the food we are going to be consuming!!
As for today, with it being the real Valentine's Day, we'll probably grab a delicious hot "chocolate" beverage. So, did I mention to you that I am pretty much 100% dairy-free. Of course, Gianna has been doing the dairy free thing for over six months, and now Mom is joining her. It's not that I was a big dairy eater, but my downfall was always cheese and my daily Hot Chocolates and tea lattes. Now I've been getting both with coconut milk . And I'm pleased to say, they are pretty darn deelish!
Now, if you are still wondering what to get your special person(s) for today, here is a re-print of an article I published last year
Don't let the title fool you - these gifts are perfect for vegans and non-vegans!!! 25 Great Valentine's Gifts for the Vegan in Your Life From Long Island & Online read full article
Off to pick up my girlies from school and get them a sweet drink.
I'm counting down the days to Disney - 2 left! Have a spectacular day and Happy Valentine's Day! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
Valentine's Day around here is a family affair!
Well Hello Hello & Happy St. Valentine's Day to you!
It started lightly raining yesterday and then raining heavier last night and hasn't let up since. I AM LOVIN' IT!!!
Dave, the sweat-heart that he is dropped off my Valentine's bouquet last night - so that I could enjoy every minute of it.
Then as of early this morning he delivered me a box of vegan sweets - chocolates from Rose City Chocolates.
Along with this bag full of surprises - that I will be staring at until he comes home later this evening! I won't open it without him.
Meanwhile my little sweetie Cosette woke up extra early to make us Red Velvet Brownies! And she was sure to think of me and my love for the crispy chewy edges!!! Mmmm.
Cosette actually had to work today and won't be home to enjoy the holiday with the fam bam until 3:30p. I had my share of running around to do this morning and still have my share to conquer this afternoon. One thing I want to share with you today is something that should've been shared 2.5 years ago... The missing pictures from a couple of days on our 2016 trip to the Bahamas!!
