​Busy, Busy Friday and Seven Historical Facts about Fordham, The Bronx

Hello!  Hope you have had a great week!  Mine was extremely busy and the craziness continues today!

Gianna's Cotillion is tonight - it's the special high school dance for the Freshmen. We have been getting ready all week for the big night.

First, she needed to get her new bridge where her teeth are missing.  This was a birth defect, where her two adult side front teeth never formed.  So, since losing her baby teeth, she has had a space there.  

Finally, this week, thanks to dear "Uncle Carlo" (my brother-in-law), my girl has a new bridge and a full smile like never before!!
I will take a picture this evening when she is all dressed and ready to go to her dance.  

Carlo is amazing since he got this ready for Gianna in time for the dance this week!  

Of course, there were other things as well to get done.  Ordering a boutonnière for her date had to be taken care of and I'll be heading to the florist later this morning to pick it up.  

And lastly, there is the pre-party at Gianna's friend Bella's house early this evening, for which all the moms have pitched in to help our lovely hostess Karla, by each bringing something.  I'm in charge of water bottles and Vegan cookies.

My plan is to arrive at Sweet to Lick when they first open at 11:00 this morning to snag the best selection of their assorted vegan cookies!!

Lastly, I'll pass by the laundromat to pick up our clean laundry.  Whew!!!  That's not it of course, because I do need to fetch Gianna from school later this afternoon, come back, help my girl get ready and head on over to the pre-party.

Very busy Day
