Gianna's High School Mission Trip to Venice & PragueGood Day Guys!! The start of another week and it is shaping up to be a busy one. One super exciting meeting this week concerns a high school mission trip for Gianna next year to Venice (Italy) and Prague (Czech Republic)!! With my girl having visited both of these cities as a child, I am so confident she will appreciate even more going back as a teenager! We'll have all the details soon. Just so excited for her to have this opportunity. She certainly works hard enough in school, having received a partial scholarship and being in all honors classes. In other news -I'm running around like a chicken without a head today - grocery shopping, laundry and even scheduling another visit from the plumber. Sorry this is so short - but please continue to follow Tanya's Las Vegas Trip - it is certainly jam-packed with lots of fun events and food!! - Toodles, Travelin' Elisa xoxo | Christmas time at the Bellagio in Las VegasHello and Greetings from Las Vegas! This trip has solely been about the food, the shopping and the shows. But although we have been having a great time, until yesterday it didn't quite seem as though we were successfully able to do all three in one single day. Actually doing all three successfully in a day was darn near impossible. So being that we didn't have a show to see yesterday, the focus could be all about the food and the shopping - which proved to be a success! Since we were trying another vegan eatery that was off of the strip 'Go Vegan Cafe' that meant hopping into the car and taking a little drive. The meal at Go Vegan Cafe was a rather tasty one... But there is a bit of a short story about this. Although I had heard mention about this cafe, I personally still hadn't tried the food or the service. So of course I had to do all of my cross referencing prior to the visit. Once I got on to read the Yelp reviews I came across a number of less than positive mentions...Ut oh This might stop certain people, however I know better than to listen to a few hangry folks especially when the food just looked and sounded just too good for us to miss out on. And luckily we didn't, because we cleaned our plates and renewed our memberships to the clean plate club! After a lovely meal, we headed back towards the strip with a quick visit to Whole Foods. We bopped back up to the room to resituate before heading out to hit the stores. Our first stop was the the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood - which proved mighty successful! In and out of the stores with more and more bags being draped over our arms. Dinner reservations were at 8:30p and before returning to our room once again, I had wanted to go to my very favorite place on the Las Vegas Strip... The Bellagio Conservatory - It was decorated most beautifully for Christmas! There is more to tell, but I have to run out now... A busy as can be- -Travelin' Tanya |
