New Sicily Travel Book!
Not much going on here, however, it is sunny, hot and me and the girls are just catching up on some reading.
Gianna and Kelsey have to get their summer reading complete, so it's a perfect day for them to do so.
After a quick trip to Trader Joe's this morning, I make an impromptu visit to Barnes & Noble. I had been wanting to get a book about Sicily, which I was successful at finding! But, as I walked into the store, I saw a book that really caught my eye: Healing Crystals & Gemstones: From Amethyst to Zircon
My new book about Sicily! Yay!!! for our "Taste of Sicily" Trip in June 2019 (c) travelincousins.com
Bargain book about Crystals that I purchased today (c) travelincousins.com
Honestly, I cannot wait to sit quietly and read my books today!! That is the extent of my "to do's".
Well, who am I kidding? - I'll probably work on a few upcoming articles as well.
Oh, and by the way, I caught the action spy movie, Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle, last night on HBO.
I never saw Kingsman 1: The Secret Service and I understand, Kingsman 3 will be coming soon! The humor is great and the action is terrific!
Ok guys - I'm outta here for the day. See ya back here tomorrow for the start of the new week! -E

Damn Mercury in Retrograde
What a day yesterday was...
That darn Mercury in retrograde was playing a doozy on me.
Mercury is retrograde. Again. This time from July 26 to August 19. And then before the year is over it'll be back once more from Nov. 16 - Dec. 6.
I've had 3 issues with credit card fraud.
I've had issues with hackers.
I've had issues attempting to clear up these said issues with being disconnected 5 times, then waiting several hours to call back and waiting on hold for almost 2 hours!!!
I've also had flight delays
And I'm the type of person who will become obsessed if something is not right. This happened to me several times just yesterday. UGH
We were trying to head out for something to eat and it was just one thing after the next - either I couldn't find something or obsessed about some prep for an upcoming trip. It was non-stop while I was at home.
Eventually I was finally comfortable enough to leave the house. The only problem was that I was super starving by the time we reached the cafe.
We went to Mother's Market and Kitchen, Costa Mesa location. The place was packed! The food was good and my belly was happy!
I had the Butter Letter Wraps with ginger faux chickun.
Cosette had a Tempeh Wrap.
Dave went with a Taquitos plate.
And Dominic had the Penne Marinara with faux meatballs.
After this we headed to our very favorite coffee roaster Keen Coffee in Tustin, ordered some iced and hot drinks, plopped down into the comfy oversized sofa and chairs, chatted, laughed, and just hung out.
Of course I couldn't go the entire day without looking up things travel related. lol
So as I sat there I had began searching hotels for our 2019 Bike the 5 Boros visit to NYC. Nothing booked yet, but I'll be sure to keep you posted.
We headed home after that and I actually unpacked! Partly because I need to use the luggage again in a few days. And then although it wasn't planned - I actually also packed. I'm almost finish with my packing. I will still need to toss in the last minute odds and ends.
Today I'll be heading to Dave's to get his packing underway. But before that, we are heading to the Green Tomato for breakfast. I've also got a mani/pedi scheduled this afternoon - at last!!
And we are planning to go see Mission Impossible Fallout.
Dinner with be a traditional Sunday Pasta dinner with the fambam.
Lots to fill you in on this week, so stay tuned and be sure to subscribe to our page.
