Family is the Core of an Italian Household

Howdy!
Can you believe that in less than a week until I'll be back in Costa Rica?! If you've been following along, I sort of booked this trip last minute (or at least last minute for me - sort of been the theme with both of my trips to Costa Rica!) I kind of just went ahead and booked it when I found out that our plans to go to Vietnam had fallen through. I hate being disappointed and having plans fall through is disappointing, so I guess I needed/wanted a pick-me-up! Pick-me-up and take me to Costa Rica! Actually for that matter - pick-me-up and take me on any vacation! I chose these dates based on Andrew's (my brother in law) birthday. I choose many if not all of my travel dates based around family birthdays/events/holidays etc... Family is the core of the Italian household and I do everything that I can to not miss anything that is important to us!
Now the funny thing about Andrew's Fun Birthday plans is that he has decided for dinner to be at Pura Vida - Vegan Italian Restaurant. AND in case you didn't realize, the Costa Rica country motto is PURA VIDA... Plus I will be having something at Pura Vida Miami when we return back to the USA from Costa Rica!
Crazy huh?! Can you say Pura Vida times 3ya? So therefore I have decided to name this trip: All Signs Point To Pura Vida Side note Pura Vida Miami now has a location that has opened in New York! Still speaking about the All Signs Point to Pura Vida trip, well I am pretty much finished with level 1 of my packing and the remainder will be a slow process, but little by little each of remaining items will be gathered and placed inside my luggage. The rest of this week will be rather hectic and busy. Leaving my almost no time for anything more than what has already been pre-scheduled. Wanna hear what I mean when I say hectic? Take yesterday for instance. I left the house at around 6:50a and after all the (oh too many) stops that I had to make (appointments/errands/chores) I did not get back home until 9pm and had driven in tons of traffic, who even knows how many total miles and yet I got nowhere! LOL I have some errands to run today, it will keep me busy but thank goodness it won't compare to yesterday. Then everyone will come over later tonight for our weekly summer salad night. Good times. And on that note. Until we meet again. Ciao 4 now, -Travelin' Tanya |

Well, hello!!
this week has been one crazy week. In the first place, I have had AWFUL sleep. I'm pretty sure I'm to blame and it's not just by chance. My nightly routine is usually to watch a podcast or two, do some reading and then settle into one of my favorite nightly YouTube videos. These include a nightly meditation with Dr. Joe Dispenza followed by a video with either 528 hertz music or affirmations with soft music in the background. However, this week, I got hooked on watching some rock concerts on YouTube featuring two of my favorites - Steely Dan and Eric Clapton. I actually watched about 5 videos of different concerts from the 1980's, 90's and 2000's of Eric Clapton singing Layla. Here's one of my favorites!! This one features Clapton with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
..And as far as Steely Dan goes, here is my favorite -Steely Dan Aja Live.
Needless to say, I've been watching these and then I'm revved up and can't sleep till like 2 or 3AM and then I've been dragging in the morning. Back to my meditations tongiht!
Well, with Tanya talking about Italian households, in mine, we've got a trip to Italy coming up tomorrow! That's right, my girl Gianna will be headed to Italy for her second trip. Our last trip, her first, was in August 2014 - exactly 10 years ago!!
