Elisa's Daily ScoopMarch is here - Winter please leaveGreetings from Long Island!! Yes, after 15 days, I'm finally back home. I will say, however, I'm not terribly happy to have returned to this icky, cold weather! Tomorrow we get back on our regular school routine. I know the kids are far from happy, but hey, it is what it is! I have a number of things to get done myself. Errands and organization will keep my day quite busy tomorrow. One thing I have to do is take a ride over to Build-A-Bear to confirm a Brownie outing for Kelsey's troop next month. The girls did such a great job with their cookie sales, so my co-leader and I decided what would be more fun than to celebrate with "building" the "Girl Scout Bear" for all of the girls! I also have to do the usual food shopping, banking, returning phone calls and scheduling some appointments. So, what do you think about it being March?? I think, in general, this has been a horrible Winter, pretty much all around the country! And speaking for New York and Long Island, I think it's high time Spring makes her appearance!! Here are some special Days to make note of in March: March 8: International Women's Day March 10: Daylight Savings Day (Spring Ahead) March 14: National Pie Day March 17: St. Patrick's Day March 20: First Day of Spring March 22: National Goof Off Day March also happens to be National Nutrition Month, so it's a good time to get yourself into some healthy, eating habits!! Happy March 1st!!! Enjoy your Sunday!! -E xoxo | Tanya's Daily ScoopHaving a BLAST!Greetings everyone! Happy Sunday & Happy first day of March! March is a very special month, lots going on this month & it happens to be the month of my birthday!!! So you know there will be lots of celebrating! So much going on over here, that I barely have the time to tell you all about it! Here's a quick glance into yesterday... Some reasons why I'm no Lance Armstrong...
Had lunch at Real Food Daily sitting next to 'Alice' (Linda Laven) - I know I'm totally aging myself! Lol Got a very nice personal apology from the hotels Director of Rooms about last night's 2am fire alarm incident. Service here is impeccable - as it should be & as I wish it to be in all places! What absolutely fabulous and great weekend! Keeping it very short and sweet for today, but I promise you a FULL review in Monday's Daily Scoop - be sure to check it out, because you're not gonna want to miss it! Cheers, -T |
