Pure Delight at Sweet Olenka's

Forever on a quest to find great vegan desserts, Tanya and, I found ourselves in yet another sweetery on our recent trip to Toronto.

Sweet Olenka's Ice Cream & Dessert Shoppe, was pure delight to the vegans and non-vegans in our crowd! With five current locations - two in Toronto and three more in Etobicoke, Sweet Olenka's offerings include both cold treats, cakes, candies, sweet beverages and other baked goodies, with a significant offering to the vegan crowd.

Traveling with a variety of tastes and dietary restrictions to accommodate, this find of our's had everyone indulging in a late afternoon decadent snack.

The space was small, but the variety of sweet delights was great. With display cases full of cakes, cookies and ice cream, it was not easy narrowing down my decision!

I know that Tanya and her group were pleased as punch about the non-dairy ice cream, as well as the freezer full of vegan cold treats.

Tanya wasted no time selecting her afternoon dessert from the vegan freezer section with one of their chocolatey ice cream bars!

The colors alone could make your mouth water!! Which one to choose - the big question!!

The kids all went for "ice cream" - my gang selecting dairy and Tanya's gang going for the non-dairy.

Cosette double scooped it, as did Dominic! Kelsey went with her usual - vanilla; and Gianna went chocolate all the way!!

After a long debate between the Sweet Georgia Peach and the Raspberry Chocolate Swirl (having tasted both!), I finally settled on a sugar cone scooped high with the Raspberry Chocolate Swirl!! Super choice!!

The products at Sweet Olenka's are natural and full of yummy goodness!! Everything is made on premises, and that includes all candy and chocolate, cakes, ice cream, ice cream bars and macarons.

What a great way to spend a hot, late day in Toronto!!
