Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: LAS VEGAS
Still in Vegas Baby!!!
A Big HELLO coming at you from Las Vegas!
We had such a fun filled wonderful day yesterday that started with a beautiful sunrise...
REMEMBER: I'm a Sunrise/Sunset chaser?!
We continued our Taste of Las Vegas - which I'm sure that I'll be doing a future feature FOODIE FRIDAY on and we ate at some of the Best Restaurants which also happen to be some of my my favorites here in Vegas - Tableau & SW Steakhouse, in addition to trying something new for lunch - A Slice of Vegas Pizza - which even had vegan Zeppoles!!!!
We also did some fun sightseeing, and of course what is a visit to Las Vegas or a Labor Day weekend with some retail therapy...better know as SHOPPING!!!
Playing with the filters! LOL
Later in the evening we saw the absolutely mind boggling Mentalist Show, that was über entertaining and the cause for much discussion at our feeble attempts to figure out how the heck he pulled off some of the astonishing acts! Dave had even got called up as a volunteer (who never volunteered! lol)

And the fun continues today here on Labor Day in Las Vegas - which as usual will be brought to you in tomorrow's Daily Scoop!
Be sure to catch up with Elisa and read about her night in NYC!
I find it so hilarious the way the mind set of families who's kids aren't Home Schooled - they think that today is the LAST DAY OF SUMMER! LOL
While Labor Day might be the last ceremonial day of summer, and although the kids get back into the swing of things with their studies tomorrow, in our book summer doesn't officially end until the actual last day of summer - September 22nd, 2015 - 15 more days peeps :) I say "Enjoy them and don't rush the Fall, it'll be here in no time!"
With that I'll say my Ciao 4 Now, hope the you enjoy your Labor Day and see ya later, -T
Elisa's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 18 DAYS
Last Official Day of Summer
Hey Guys!! Today is officially the last day of Summer - so sad!!
Is anyone else totally bummed? Ugh - I really was not made for the school year. Ever since I was a kid, I have HATED the beginning of September because it was the official end of the leisurely days of Summer!
Well, the good news is that I have LOTS of fun outings, weekend road trips and entertainment events planned for the Fall.
Tomorrow, I'll be heading to the U.S. Open, right here in Queens. I decided that I'll be doing a little vlogging from the U.S. Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows.
You can expect more and more videos in the upcoming months. Have you checked out the Travelin' Cousins' YouTube Channel? We'll be working hard to get up close and personal with you guys with more and more live videos!!!
Last night...was such a fun time in New York City! My bestie Maria invited us to join her and Ed (her husband) for dinner in the Big Apple.
One of Maria's sorority sisters, Jody, was in town with her husband Alan and son, Andrew. What nice people!!! I can't tell you what a lively evening it was - lots of laughing, silly conversation and wonderful food!!

You'd think that a steakhouse and being a vegetarian don't go together, but I have ALWAYS had some of the best salads and vegetable sides at top steakhouses, and my meal last night was no different! Great food! I'll be doing a full review of Wolfgang's Steakhouse in an upcoming Foodie Friday feature.
And just so you guys get the real deal on the "meat", I'll be getting quotes from the carnivores in our group last night, since your's truly did not indulge in the meat.
With more food on the table than we had room during the meal, we all still had room for dessert, which I will say, was pretty decadent!

While the conversation flowed from the moment we all arrived at the restaurant, there were some interesting highlights.
Ed, who can recite the lines to just about any movie, with an amazing gift for impersonations that are spot-on, also happens to do one of the best bar-none imitations of the late, great Marlon Brando as Godfather, Don Corleone.
Since The Godfather is one of my all-time favorite films, I never tire of hearing Ed do some Don Corleone dialog. Last night, I caught it on video and I'm pleased as punch to bring it to you now. Thanks Ed!!!!

What a pleasure the city was last night - we flew right in on the 59th Street bridge (when does that happen!) and even found street parking in mid-town!

So, as for today...I have not as yet made up my mind. I have two options: 1) Go to Maria & Ed's Beach Club or 2) Go visit my sissy and spend the day at her house while kids go in pool.
I'm heading to Fairway to get my week's food shopping done. Need lunch for the kiddies all week and of course, have to fill my pantries with food.
Don't forget to read all about Tanya's Las Vegas Vacation as I enjoy my STAYcation!!
