Good morning! First, I'd like to welcome our new followers! It's really so exciting to know that we have a growing audience of friends and fellow travel buffs enjoying our stories and travel adventures. Today, I have posted a "Throwback Thursday" account of my trip to Ireland in August 2012. It was probably the most enjoyable time the kids have had in Europe thus far. The majority of our time in Ireland was spent at Dromoland Castle, and in the county of Clare (though we did travel down to Killarney as well, which I will write about in a Part 2 segment). I hope you enjoy reading about our trip and the many new experiences we had.
On a different note, for those of you who recently read my rant the other day about the raccoons in my house, you will be happy to know that mama raccoon and her baby are now gone! She left on her own two days ago and I was thrilled we didn't have to take more extreme (or expensive!) measures to evict this furry family.
Remember that you can now follow us on a number of social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+. Tanya did a phenomenal job of posting an amazing collage of photos on Instagram!
Enjoy the day!
So where am I off to this time???
Good day readers! We certainly have a treat for you today - it's Throwback Thursday and this week it's featuring Elisa and family in Ireland! Great story and really wonderful pictures. You're gonna luv it!
I absolutely just adore Ireland, the lush green rolling hills, the amazingly friendly people, I could go on and on...
If you haven't been, you should go put it on your list! Speaking of lists, have you guys had the chance to browse around and check out our List of Lists page? We welcome any comments or questions that you might have. Do you have a suggestion of a list for us to put on the board?
Anyhow, as for yesterday I was just super excited when I received my email from Travelin' Cousins! Literally, I was bouncing around with joy that all my futzing had paid off!
I also finished up all of my packing. I'm heading up to San Francisco this afternoon and then spending the weekend in beautiful Mendocino! I plan to be posting photos and updates daily on our FB page - have you liked us yet?
Okay, well before I head off to one of my favorite cities - did you know that? You would if you checked out the Favorites Places Page...I've gotta take Cosette to her horseback riding lesson and run a few errands.
I'll catch up with everyone on tomorrows Daily. And since Elisa handled Throwback Thursday this week, I'm on it for Foodie Friday; we'll be switching back and forth taking turns on these. Never a boring moment here at Travelin Cousins - you'll always find something new everyday, so check back often!
Ciao 4 now,
