Travelin' Cousins is 4 Years Old

Could four years have gone that quickly??? Crazy!

As many of you know, Tanya and I had a 35 year estrangement due to our parents/grandparents, not talking. But, ya can't keep cousins apart!!
Reuniting in 2013, and discovering that as adults, we both LOVE to travel (among other things), we forged a great bond!!
And from this bond, came about our travel blog, Travelin' Cousins!!!
Congrats to Tanya and me and much more importantly, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your continued support for following our blog, our daily happenings and of course, our travel adventures!!!
We couldn't have made it this far,
Of course, it is also Mother's Day, so a big, huge, Happy shout out to all the moms, near and far!!
I'll be getting up and at 'em pretty soon to get my very busy day going. Brunch in Astoria with Aunt Ro, a little afternoon snack and drink at Andrea's in Garden City and then off to Rockville Centre, for dinner with my mom.
This coming week is one of the craziest weeks yet with work/blog deadlines and to do's as well as kids' events (something every single day throughout next Sunday!!)
There's also a bunch of info and fun stuff I'm bringing you this week for, what is still National Bike Month, as well as piggy backing, wherever possible, Tanya's upcoming trip in two days to Poland, German and More, for additional fun facts about her travel destinations!!
But, for now, let's just celebrate the day -
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, step-moms, grandmas, aunts, doggie and cat moms and all those that are like a mom!!!
See ya back here tomorrow as we begin our 5th Year writing our blog!!

Happy Anniversary to US!
Well hi there!
Ooops we did it again...
It's been another year full of trips, travel and tribulations here at Travelin' Cousins. And we are doing the 'ol switch-a-roo and swapping sides for the year!
Happy Sunday to everyone, Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there and Happy Anniversary to us here at Travelin' Cousins!
Sorry I missed you all yesterday. It was yet another one of the crazy packed days that I've been having since our return from NYC. With less than a week between trips and so much to do, I really wasn't able to jump on the computer even for a quick sec yesterday. It was well after midnight that I finally had a chance to sit back and relax.
The biggest thing that I checked off of my to do list was helping Dave do his packing...or maybe I should say doing his packing for him.
One good thing about all I have had to do is that not everything has been a chore. I have had a few moments of pampering. And if you recall I had mentioned that I was going to get my hair done and to expect a change...
There you have it! SURPRISE!
I love it! I'm no stranger to fun hair colors. And I've missed having these colors running through my locks.
After getting my hair done yesterday I did in fact have lots of chores and errands to be done, and I could seriously not believe just how very many compliments that I got on my hair from complete strangers.
It was like a TV commercial with people everywhere and of all ages complimenting my hair!
And then when I posted this same photo on FaceBook amongst the number of friends who liked or loved it were the ones who quoted "Now that's the Tanya that I know!" Elisa has never seen me with any of these extra fun colors, so I think I may have shocked her a bit when I sent her the pic!
Today will be a family day, but before the festivities get kicked off, I'm heading out for a mani/pedi. Once I get back we'll be having our annual Mother's Day family brunch hosted by Dave C. then we are going to a local gardens.
I've requested that we stop at Keen for some out of this world coffee drinks and then the fam bam will be heading to the movies. From what I've heard we are going to see Overboard. Dinner will be at home and Cosette has insisted that I cannot be the one doing the cooking and that both her and Dominic will give me the night off.
Such good kiddies, I appreciate the break...but I don't think they realize that I love cooking for them!
