Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY TRAVELING: ROAD TRIP FROM PARK CITY TO VEGAS TO SOCAL
Feeling the BURN!
Well that was it. After skiing over 275,000 vertical feet, we are done for the season.
And you'll never believe it...my legs were actually getting tired yesterday!
Throughout the season (especially on weekends) I constantly found myself thinking "is it too much to ask for perfect conditions and to have the slopes all to myself!"
Well guess what...our last run was just that!
Okaaaay maybe not "perfect" conditions, but they were pretty good and we did have the run to ourselves!
We had much fun and had a great last ski trip of the season!
We DID NOT ski into the Avalanche Terrain!
After a busy day on the slopes with plenty of mogul runs, and double blacks, the last run of the day was up the Super Condor Express chair and then a mellow cruiser down Upper Boa, Lower Boa, and Willow Draw. Till next season (insert me wiping a tears).
As far as today goes, although I booked the trip through tomorrow, I cut it short by a day and we are on the road heading back to Orange County.
Why did I cut the trip short - which I NEVER do?! Because of EXPOWEST - the Natural Foods Convention (that I missed last year & was jealous of all the people I know who went!).
We'll be stopping in Sin City (Vegas) on the way back...so it's bound to be a fun day - that I'll tell you all about in tomorrows SCOOP!!
See ya then, -T
Elisa's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 9 DAYS
Do you have plans for this weekend? I'm headed out East so these girlies can ride. They are doing just fine after having their teeth pulled yesterday!
Gianna had it a bit more difficult than her sister since she had two teeth extracted, but they both made it to school just fine.

My day was certainly not as exciting as Tanya's, unfortunately.
Now, for my bad news... It's been quite a week. So, considering that Gianna was not feeling 100% and worried that she might need to come home from school early (which I doubt will happen), I decided to post-pone by Bronx Grand Concourse Tour in order to stay local.
To say the least, I'm disappointed, but motherhood comes first. Ok, so more bad news...my laptop will not go on - I have an appointment at the Apple store later this afternoon. UGH so I'm hopeful that my blog tomorrow will be more interesting than the past two days.
The good news is, Tanya keeps this blog going with lots of travel excitement. So, DO NOT MISS anything she has to say.
Promise to make up for the Not-So-Exciting posts this week!
