Lotsa Travel TidbitsWe hope you enjoyed our "Foodie Fridays" segment yesterday and have added the Wynn Hotel restaurants in Las Vegas and Seasons 52 (41 locations throughout the US) to your dining plans! Today Tanya is in Catalina Island in California - can't wait to read her daily and hear how her day is going! As for me I will be heading out to the East End of Long Island to our weekend home for Gianna and Kelsey's horseback riding lessons. Lucked out with a sunny, gorgeous day too! A special shout out to Rebecca today on her 24th birthday - love you!! I wanted to point out a few points of interest on our site (Thanks to Tanya's hard work ). Go to the "More" tab and on the drop down you will see a number of interesting links including our Throwback Thursdays and Foodie Fridays segments. There is also our List of Lists of anything and everything related to "Elisa and Tanya Travel" on the same drop down. We also have a tab for our Trip Itineraries which includes Past and Future trips which we will be consistently adding to and updating. These will include our travel routes and day by day activities for each trip. These may come in handy and assist you greatly in planning your own trips! More later... ~E | Rubbery NoodlesHowdy my peeps, I'm back on the Mainland of Cali, after a brief overnight on Santa Catalina Island. Overall we had a lovely stay and much fun was had - I also got a sunburn. From the time I woke up and as I huffed my way up the trail, I sent texts and pics to Elisa and she kept me posted about her recent additions to the site - adding to the list of lists page, as well as discussing who our first guest blogger will be! Stay tuned for an adventure to be told...Exciting stuff! On Catalina Island we did the Gran Fondo for the first time - and I felt the burn...not just the sunburn. My poor legs were like rubbery noodles by the time we had finished! More on my stay and the ride on Monday in my weekend recap. After hearing about my grunt Elisa had noted that I was nuts, and that she would drive the distance and wait for me there - in my exhaustion I whole heartedly agreed that I WAS NUTS! And the fact that I want to do it again next year proves that I AM! BTW - I may not be the fastest, but I had the best looking nails out there! ;) ~T |
