Travelin' Tuesday Today!
I love the idea that we have a specific day that we focus on our upcoming trips and are able to have you share in the planning of all the details with us! Our hope is that you get some good ideas and even borrow some of the itineraries and methodology for arranging your own travels.
Check out Part 6 of our New Mexico Road Trip which featured the activities and sights we are going to see in Taos. We've also updated our New Mexico Road Trip Details page. As for my Italy Trip, I've made some great progress this past week! First of all, I composed a list of all the places I want to see in all of the cities we'll be visiting. Of course, this is my ideal vision - I'm not sure in the end, we will be able to see it all, but it's a starting point. In addition, I've made contact with 3 different tour guides - one in Rome, Tuscan countryside and Florence. At present, I'm working with each of them to schedule specific visits during our time in each of these locations. I will continually be updating the Italy Trip Planning page, so keep checking back! I am so excited that Tanya has added lots of new information to her UK & Scandinavia and Iceland Trip Planning pages!! So much exciting travel in the near future! We really encourage you to comment and tell us about any exciting travels you have had.
It's a hot one today, but I'm gonna venture out for a long bike ride this morning. Then I will head over to Barnes & Noble again to sit and do travel reading - my kind of day!! This is the last full day of school for the kids, which means, no more lunch preparation!!
Enjoy your day!
It's like Travel Foreplay!
Travelin Tuesday with the Travelin Cousins; how much more fun can you get?! Well I hope you have already started to get to know us and that you have spent some time browsing all the fun pages of this site!
Sometimes I start browsing around, and I'm all like "Wow! These are really fun cousins! I wanna do all that stuff too!" Then I realize that I am one of "us" and that you too can do all the fun stuff that we do!!!
Yesterday Elisa and I spent time working on Taos for Part 6 of our New Mexico Road Trip. You really must know how much I really love the planning stages...it's almost like having an incredibly awesome dream, waking up and then actually being able to relive the whole thing again, step for step, moment for moment! Pretty freakin' awesome!
And IMO soooo much better than just showing up somewhere, not knowing what's there, having poor time management, having no reservations (ugh - that sounds like the worst), then coming back from your trip and having missed everything! I could never do that - that to me is a huge waste of time and funds! In addition to missing out on the amazing planning stages - like the foreplay of travel! Travel foreplay makes for the best Travelgasms, and I'm all about Travelgasms!!!
Well, I'm about to do some more writing, and some more trip planning (travel foreplay)...maybe now you can understand why I like it soooo much!
