Ski trip prep
I'm in full prep mode and getting ready for our next trip which happens to be our first ski trip of the 2018 season!
We are super excited and eager to get on out there and hit the slopes.
Five of us will be heading to Lake Tahoe early on Friday morning in hopes of catching a couple of hours worth of runs at Kirkwood on the way up!
As of last night, we went to REI to pick up Cosette's and my skis.
Not that this has anything to do with it, but I was very hungry - like starving on our way over there. So we had decided to stop at our local favorite Mother's Market to pick up a few supplies and perhaps a snack.
Well I'm not sure which of you realize this but I am one of those people who the hungrier I get - the more difficult I become with choosing something to eat! And then the doomed time comes where I don't like the sound of anything!!!
Not a good time for any of us!
This here is a very true statement for when I am over hungry!
I eventually ate - so everything was okay. LOL
Anyhow it's stopped raining and I need to take Cosette to the stables and then go shopping for supplies for our trip. I think my shopping list is pretty much ready to go.
I did a bunch of packing yesterday...still more to do, but I definitely made some headway.
Tonight the plan is to help Dave with his packing.
So, I'll hit the road for now and catch ya'll tomorrow, -T

Queens Museum Day
I'm coming to you today from Queens. I'm having breakfast with my Aunt Ro at Brooklyn Bagel in Astoria.
Our day is beginning with some delicious bagels - I got a sesame bagel with tofu vegetable cream cheese. I was lucky enough to get a parking spot right out front, which is quite a feat on a busy avenue in Queens!!

After we chow down, we'll head over to Flushing Meadow Park to the Queens Museum.
I'll be snapping away, camera in-hand for tomorrow's blog!!
