Elisa's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 49 DAYS
Back to the Barn
Hello! Wow - this has clearly been a crazy week for posting our blog with any regularity.
I wanted to first apologize. Secondly, I wanted to explain why.
Well, with Tanya traveling over in Europe, her access to reliable wifi has not been great (to say the least).
In an effort to be sure that we post The Daily Scoop with both of our columns complete, we've been working together to be sure that we post only when both columns are posted 100%.
We then thought that it might help for Tanya to email her blog and pictures to me for me to post, but to add insult to injury, the wifi is so bad that she hasn't even been able to transmit that in a normal time frame.
So, please bear with us during the rest of Tanya's Winter Wonderland Trip as we bob and weave through getting our blog up for you to read each day!

Today, was our first day back to the barn in a while. Kelsey took a group lesson with some of the girls, while Gianna chose to watch and hang out.
I have to admit, being back in the company of horses was a great thing for all of us!

Our plan is to go back to the barn on Saturday - this time, both girls are supposed to be riding.
Since it's going to be a six hour day, I know I'll be spending some time watching my girls once again in the arena, where I'll be taking pictures and videos of my girlies doing what their passion is - riding horses!

Please check out her Scoop today.
It's a short one today folks! See ya back here tomorrow!!
Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: CORTINA d'AMPEZZO, ITALY
Well folks I can finally say GREETINGS from Cortina d'Ampezzo!
I'm here in the heart of the magnificent Dolomites.
I almost made a trip here about 7.5 years ago - the last time I was visiting Venice - but opted not to and to explore more of the islands.
But now I'm here - we are here. And not only that, but what I didn't realize back then is that it is a UNESCO World Heritage site - and you know how much Elisa, Dave B. and I love UNSECO sites.
So everything should be hunky dory and super cool - but holy crappies am I having horrendous wifi issues. Here I was hoping that technical things would get better - but instead they got worse, much worse! UGH
Anyhow, we made our way from Kitzbuhel to Cortina yesterday after heading up to Hahnenkamm - where we were originally suppose to head out and ski, but that just wasn't in the cards for us this time around.
After capturing the views and the a snowball fight for the kids, we began out journey out of Austria and into Italy.
Boy was Dave and I excited when we spotted our first glance of the Dolomites. And from that point on we just got closer and closer until we found ourselves here in Cortina.
And of course being in Italy means good food and so we couldn't wait to order a round of perfectly al dente Spaghetti for the table. Yum!
As far as today goes, we have opted that even though the snow levels aren't that great here and that it is a mix of artificial and natural snow that we would hit the slopes regardless - especially since we couldn't in Kitz.
Hopefully I'll be able to tell you all about it in tomorrow's Daily Scoop.
