I don't mind much since my days have been filled with tons of errands, chaffering the kids and my continuation of packing things up in my house for charity.
Well, as you can plainly see, today is National Pretzel Day and it's no secret that me and my dear cousins are super huge fans of The Pretzel!!

We have both had our share of these delicious doughy delights!
One of my favorite pretzel memories is when Gianna and I took a weekend trip to Lititz, PA, a town located in Lancaster County.
We had the pleasure of visiting the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, America’s first commercial pretzel bakery, founded in 1861.

With today being W2GW, I wanted to tell you about a super fun shopping event in New York City, each Spring.
It is the NYC Sample Sale!
If you like shopping and sales as much as me, then you are sure to like what the month of May has in store!
"May is one of the BEST Sample Sales months in NYC,” according to nycinsiderguide.com.
Many of the most coveted fashion designers and brands open up to the public for their sample sales.
In past years, May sample sales have included the likes of:
Kids Sample Sale
The Big Designer Sale
Elizabeth and James
Sferra Luxury Linens
Rubin & Chapelle
Sample sales have traditionally, almost exclusively, been by word of mouth, and rarely publicized in advance. But, to those who are aware of them, these sales are known to offer major discounts off the retail price!
Thanks to the folks at nycinsiderguide.com, they have assembled an awesome list of may of those sales, which are going on as of this writing! So, grab your purse and your favorite shopping buddy and head down to The Big Apple!

National Pretzel Day
Today happens to be National Pretzel Day and as you know - I am a BIG fan of fresh pretzels/bretzels - especially while travelin abroad in the likes of Switzerland, Austria, and Germany - see the pics that I posted today are all from our February trip to these countries!
The Pennsylvania Dutch immigrants introduced pretzels to North America in the 19th century. At this time, many handmade pretzel bakeries populated central Pennsylvania, and their popularity quickly spread.
DID YOU KNOW: Today, the average Philadelphian consumes about twelve times as many pretzels as the national average.
DELISH pretzel from Switzerland. Mmm I could go for one of these right now! (c)travelincousins.com

Well it's a bit shocking to think that we'll be leaving in 6 days! I'm still adjusting to the 8hr time difference from London and about to gain 3 more hours onto that! Yikes!
So as you can imagine - there is a whole lot to do between now and then. The kids have a performance this Saturday, and Chaplin's birthday is on Sunday. Monday is full to the brim with meetings, appointments and choir. Plus I have to get Cosette to the stables today, and get my hair done! Not to mention (yet) all the things that I have tomorrow and Friday...
So on this note I will be heading out to the gym and come back here to catch ya'll tomorrow! -T
