Throwback Thursday in Honfleur, France! It's another Thursday, but this time, it's the end of the work week with Independence Day just a day away! I know Tanya is cookin' it up in the kitchen for our nation's 238th Birthday! Can't wait to see all the pictures of her yummy creations! I hope you enjoy my feature on Honfleur, France from my trip in the Spring of 2013. It really is a lovely little harbor town, that should not be missed if you are traveling to France. Today is Gianna's last day of class. She attended A La Carte in Lynbrook, New York. They offer kids' classes, of course, but they really specialize in a plethora of adult cooking classes and programs. I'm thinking of taking a class with the girls offered later this month "Grown ups & Kids". I'll keep you posted if I decided to sign us up! Great news! Had another article published on Ezines: Family Day and A Treasure Hunt at The Louvre! After Gianna gets out of class, we are going to head out to Remsenburg for the weekend. The weather reports are saying that the Fourth is going to be a bit soggy and wet here on Long Island, so I'm going to pack a bunch of movies in case we are stuck inside all day. Honestly, a rainy day provides a good excuse for relaxing and catching up on films and travel research and bookings! I'm also in the midst of taking an online course about internet business expansion, so the bad weather will leave me with no excuse to catch up on my web classes. TGIT and the beginning of a Holiday weekend! Hope you have some fun plans scheduled! “It is a very good plan every now and then to go away and have a little relaxation.… When you come back to the work your judgment will be surer, since to remain constantly at work will cause you to lose the power of judgment.” - Leonardo da Vinci -E | Love what ya do!Welcome to Throwback Thursday everyone! Such a fun idea for us all to look back at some fun and fond memories of the past, as well as to usually get a good laugh at ourselves from our poor choices of wardrobe and hairstyles! LOL Today, Elisa has taken you back to her Spring 2013 visit to Honfleur, France. Little did either us realize that I was visiting Honfleur just a year earlier in the Spring of 2012. Have you been there? It's such a lovely and picturesque little fishing village! We had a wonderful time there, and this is where I first heard of and tried a Breadzel! OH MY! I fell in love! My only regret was that I didn't buy MORE! I came back bragging to everyone about just how GOOD these little morsels were! If you're ever in Honfleur you need to find the small little Breadzel stand outside of the shoppes on Rue de la ville. It's so worth it! As for myself, after trying these yummies I went on a mad search throughout Europe looking for Breadzels and luckily (though not very easily) have been able to find them! So obviously you realize that I've got food on my mind! I'm telling you my brain runs on food and travel! And guess what tomorrow is??? Foodie Friday! Wh00p Wh00p! Oh yeah, and it's also the Forth of July - I've gotta feed all these hungry mouths with their summer assortment of simple foods made simply delicious! I wanted to share this adorable picture of baby Aiden (my nephew) who is turned 1 month old! And while I'm at it, here's a picture of little 2 week old Miracle who is growing so fast! And who says I don't ever relax?! (I do) By this line of thinking, I'm almost always relaxing! lololol "If you do what you love, it's the best way to relax" -Christian Louboutin Cheers for a Fabulous Day! -T |
